The vid quality is ramping up as we get to the race, which is fantastic. Having raced Chicago and Boston in 2022 and 2023, I've been there man, I had the same doubts that you have right now. My best advice is simple: no risks until mile 21 or 22, even if you miss your time goal earlier (because of wind, heat, X problem, whatever). Otherwise, Boston will humble you 100%, no matter how awesome you feel at mile 10, 15 or even 20. Best luck in 10 days, do your best and run your own race :)

Had to lol when you mentioned you didn't like the colour scheme of the Saucony's; purple, orange, and white, while dressed in purple, orange, and white. :D Look forward to these vid's so so much! Edit: I can't relate to your paces, which to me are insane, but i can relate to that face at 12:53. One of the things i love about running is your Everest is yours and yours alone and it is one step outside your front door. Edited Edit: I need floberg merch!

It's been fun following along! My 8000 feet altitude training block for Boston is almost over. It's been frustrating to basically do an entire marathon block never really getting close to my sea level paces, but I'm hoping that all of that altitude magic will pay off when I get to Boston for sea level. Hoping to run a 2:49 but we'll have to wait and see!

The Endorphin Elite is excellent and I ran Boston in them last year. Just a heads up - only slight downside is that the rubber outsole grip is thin and poor in wet conditions. The painted road markings in BOS will be slippery at water stations and/or if it rains.
