We have another interesting project-ile sent to use from Evan. These are very long and have a flat nose. This keeps the weight at 13 grams. Danny launches these at a variety of amusing targets and managed to hit all of them.

I was thinking the exact same thing! As a former ER trauma nurse in Detroit I have seen all kinds of gun shot wounds. It's bad enough with metal shot but then the X-ray helps find them. The PVC wouldn't show on an X-ray:( ☮🇬🇷😀

It never ceases to amaze me, the application of slow motion filming reveals so much of the laws of Natural science, The Newton effect of something in motion wants to stay in motion can be seen not only in the projectiles, however, the reaction of the targets. It's too bad you would get gigged for copyright infringement, there is so much music you could put to the motion of impacts synced with the music. Queensryche "anarchy-X" for one. -Dave

I just use Magnum slugs. I'm not worried about over penetration when the nearest neighbor is several miles away and I don't much feel like needing to fire twice. If the racking of the first into the chamber doesn't make you run you'll never run again.

I am a Radiology Technologist, and I cringed hard on that gel block test... That wound would have high probability of delayed complications. In a large body part like the chest or abdomen, you're not going to find anywhere near all of the fragments. Provided they survive the immediate effects of being shot, without serious medical intervention, a delayed fatality from wound sepsis is extremely likely.

I wonder if it is static discharge, PVC does build up quite a bit of charge pretty fast. It may have picked up charge from the barrel or by simply traveling through the air so fast.
