@@finnafishfl well the crappie I target are usually 1 to 2 lbs depending on time of year and I usually do use 2 or 4 but don't like using the same line for other methods of fishing I use 2 or 4 for ice fishing 6 for bobber fishing and 8 for casting 10 for bottom

A 61lb blue cat on 15lb line and a 2/0 circle hook and you sparred for over an hour. I can't imagine. In my mind I was with him and I caught 10 channel cats between 10 and 20lbs while he played around with that blue.
