We’re getting ready for Back To School with a Bedroom Refresh for Kinsley! We do something like this before each new school year & it’s honestly one of my favorite things to do for my kids. 😊 What kind of things do you do with your children to prepare for the new school year?

I know you’re feeling so much better with the kitchen fiasco over and done with. The flooring looks so nice in Kinsley’s too. When you talk about how artistic and creative she is, it reminded me of my daughter, and especially, my granddaughter. One year she gave me a beautiful picture she had drawn, and I framed it of course, but I wanted to do something special with it. I found a company on line that can turn artwork into fashion. I just downloaded the picture, and they printed it onto material, and then made an adorable dress out of it. I gave it to her for her birthday, and she loved it. Almost wore it out before she outgrew it! I think she was 8. Next year she starts college for fashion design. Man, where does all that time go?

@@lovinglifeasmegan This was almost 9 yrs ago, but I think the co was called Brightside. There‘s several that do it, and I think the prices are pretty much the same. Even twice what I paid (around $45 I think), it was worth it when she saw it.

Those shelves fit perfectly. I remember when you first made the room over with the wallpaper and just all the changes it has gone through as she's grown up. It's really fun to watch as things change. Especially in her closet! She has built some amazing Lego sets too!

The furniture in this room is 🤩. The bookshelves match the headboard so well. The nightstand and dresser are just my style. And that feature wall has always been my favorite 😍

I love how the bedroom turned out. Those shelves fit perfectly. I would suggest to put a pegboard or the one that IKEA has above the table to make table space even more empty. Pegboards are interchangeable and there are cups for pencils and markers and everything is on display. I wish I had this room growing up.
