Please find facts before you hit the keyboard. Nimal was the composer and co-singer [with Sandra Edema] of the English song but the Sinhala song by Neville Fernando was written by late Karunaratne Abeysekara. And why Neels should even be acknowledged? She was NOT anywhere near the movie 'kalu diya dahara' released in 1975 and didnt sing ANY songs to the original movie!

Neville Fernando version was at the begiining of the film Kaulu Diya Dahara and was the original recording. Neela Wickrmasinghe's version was at the end of the film and was not significant at that time. Neela was a great singer no doubt. But why did she have to harp on a shared song

Absolutely wrong!! Get the facts corrected!! Neela never sang this song in the movie. Neville did the Sinhala song at the beginning and Sandra Edema and Nimal Mendis sang the English song at the end of the movie. Neela robbed the song in mid 80s and sang it as her own. Shame!!
