I just cant keep the stalkers training fast enough. I try to attack when I have 25 or so, but I cant take down that base, they just rebuild in the span of a single attack by the hybrid, who gets larger and larger. 20 min in I'm still struggling to take it down and the guy is HUGE. I've had to restart so many times...

Yep. The timings in this mission are pretty tight.

MasterKD Well, I managed to beat the base over there, at the cost of a couple pylons and a turret at my own base, but wasn't too big of a problem. I only lost a couple stalkers when I got sandwiched between it and the hybrid. My timing is a little off yours since you're way faster than me, so I've had to adjust what I'm doing a little. So far hasn't been too awful. I'm sort of worried about resource constraints though.

dude 3-4 extra immortals would save you maybe 30 % of the time, clearing the 2nd base and crossing the bridge took way too long

Currcudush no problem XD. When I made these videos I tried to make it look as easy as possible and not lose to much of my army, so I didnt really care about how long it took me to finish the mission

Are there different classes of hybrids? This one seems ancient, but not as powerful as the invincible one in the secret mission. Also, there were those ones in Heart of the Swarm; powerful, but still a few steps under the secret mission one.

Hmm, never thought of that. I guess they are the same. Perhaps tt's just that in the first encounter, Jim didnt have enough firepower to bring the hybrid down, and later on in HotS they indeed get stronger.

Chris Zammit +Nate River There are different types. The one in this mission is called a Hybrid Destroyer. The one in the secret Terran mission is called a Hybrid Ravager. Both make appearances in the final Protoss mission "In Utter Darkness".

What makes the Ravager so powerful? It's obvious not all of them were created by the Dominion (the ones in In Utter Darkness were too numerous to be remnants of the Dominion hybrids), yet the most powerful was created by them. What was that one in the second Protoss mission called? The one that kept being resurrected.

The mission is called "A Sinister Turn". The 2nd of the Protoss minicampaign from WoL. For the number of Hybrids, I give you this quote from Samir Duran: "You can destroy all of the specimens here. It will do you no good. For I have seeded the Hybrid on many, many worlds. You will never find them all before they awaken..." So there are hundreds or maybe even thousands of hybrids. The different types are probably just which genes seem to be more dominant... The Hybrid Destroyer Protoss and Hybrid Reaver Zerg. The Ravager is the new LotV upgrade for the Roach.

Yeah, that actually answers a lot of questions, but were all of them products of the Dominion. Yeah, I was talking about the hybrid found in that Protoss mission. It's interesting to know for when Legacy of the Void comes out, but it doesn't really answer the question.

This game have some flaves. For example in this mission if you dont kill first stalker the hybrid did not attack. Or with the mission on terrazine, if you grab the gas but not make scv to get it in the CC the protoss attack will be very poor.

Yeah, I only show how to beat the game on brutal. If you can do that then the achievements are pieces of cake :)
