I've been absolutely amazed by your work from the very first time I stumbled across it. Thank you for sharing these videos of your process in creating these works or art. Truly spectacular work. I was also wondering why you don't use a dapping punch to form the teeth instead of the marble.
@Princearmory5 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The answer to that is pretty simple actually. Dapping blocks have sharp ridges that would leave nasty impressions. You get more control forming over a marble, try it.

A little advice, If you are working in a fixed point when recording video turn the auto focus off and set the focus point to your workstation. Then you don't have blurry footage and if you move in front of the camera to grab a tool it won't keep trying to refocus on the set area.
@Princearmory5 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yeah you're probably right though I tried that too during initial tests but I ended up re positioning my work a lot and whole segments were completely out of focus (perhaps I should have been using a less shallow DOF though), and there were many spots where I needed to pick a piece up to show the camera up close. But if I can make a little extra money from doing this I'll set up one or two other cameras recording with locked focus so I can have a dedicated close up cam I can move around and focus scene to scene
