I have to respectfully disagree. I think the production/mix/mastering is really poor. The drums and vocals are lost in the mix with no definition or dynamics. The whole track just sounds flat, weak and overly compressed. Maybe it's the youtube compression, but I don't think so. The production became progressively worse after Crack the Skye. It's not just Mastodon though, it's most bands. The recent Iron Maiden album sounds absolutely awful.

This is by far the best single off this album they've released. I absolutely love the verses, the odd measures of the verse gives an amazing dreamy feel to the song. I was disappointed by pushing the tides, but this song here has got me excited for the album. I can't wait to hear the heavier songs on the album.

@@CloserToTheHurricane 7/8, 7/8, 7/8, then 8/8 for the four bar main riff. Or you could feel it as 2 of 7/8 then a bar of 15/8, but I think it's better to feel it as a four bar pattern with the last bar just having an extra eighth note

Does the venue you are attending require any type of COVID restriction? I cannot get a yes or no from the Ryman in Tennessee which is the closest show for me.
