So I just finished watching eps 800-802 during the course of this afternoon and just noticed something. Mary has gotten to the audience match/big money match part 3 times now and has won each game with final scores of 1, 3, and 3. Wonder if any other contestant has gotten that far 3 times with even lower scores...

They filmed one week, 5 shows, in one day. Contestants had to bring 5 different outfits. Both Mary and Bart Hamlin should have changed. As I lost, I only got to wear my first one. Can't remember now what else I brought. I was on MG79 #1373.

Contestants are supposed to bring 5 changes of clothes, because they film 5 episodes per week. Evidently, these contestants didn't think they would still be on the show that long, they thought nobody would notice, or they forgot to bring extra clothes.

Today's (first) audience match question: "Bug ________" (My thoughts: spray, off, out) The celebs: Richard (Killer), Scoey (Me), and Charles (-aboo) The choice: Spray (Well, since I matched her in the H/H yesterday, she took my suggestion today!) The answers: s' Bunny [sic], Spray, Off It's interesting that our champion chose the same celebs in the same order both times, and both times Richard's answer wasn't even on the board, despite having had the first shot at it. She went with Richard last time, but they didn't match. Will she stick with him today? She does pick Richard again. He's on a bit of a slump, matching only once in his last six attempts. He seems due for a match today. Today's (first) H/H question: "_______ Coffee" (I'll say cup of...) Richard's answer is written and filed in just a few seconds. It looks like at least five letters... Our contestant says "hot." That doesn't sound too likely to me, but it's not a bad answer. Richard wrote "Instant." Okay, this time I'm going to say my answer was best. No match this time. ~~~~~ The next game is decided quickly, without the champion even getting her second-round question. Alright, she went with Richard the last two times, but they didn't match. Will she stick with him no matter what, as most contestants do? I love it! She picks Brett who immediately has a conniption fit! I always get a kick out of her dramatic reactions to playing the head-to-head. Although she's the second-most selected celebrity, she really doesn't play all that often, and when she does play, she pours her heart and soul into the effort, sometimes agonizing for long moments as Gene nags her (Gene tends to rush Brett and Charles, but even on those rare occasions when Richard takes forever to decide, Gene never pressures him). Brett last played in 762 (no match). Going back to 663, Brett has played 11 times since then (today will be the 12th), and she matched six of them (54.5%). This is her 64th attempt overall.
