Mat you are the man. I am 10 months sober and took me until a month ago to realize that you can know you are an alcoholic at 17 like you knew. But your dedication to your craft made me take accountability and realize I needed to become a master at my work. You have inspiring focus and work ethic. Congrats on your baby

UFF! THAT RESPONSE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF SEEING YOU IN HYROX IS EXCITING😃
@KyleDotson_VFL24 күн бұрын
Go now and train for Hyrox and win the world championship! We all know you can do it but these guys in Hyrox think they can’t be beaten by CrossFit athletes and I would love to see you put a good ole Mat Fraser whoopin on these guys! DO IT! WE ALL WANT TO SEE IT ATLEAST ONCE!
@anderson_pcardoso20 күн бұрын
If someone doesn't train for Hyrox, they won't win a Hyrox, simple as that. If he trains for it, then at that point he's a Hyrox athlete. Keep in mind that no CF athlete has beat the 60 min mark (not even Rick, which is one of the best runners in the games), whilst on the last Hyrox major, all athletes in the elite went under the mark. The current times to be a world champion circle around 53min, you have to run the whole thing at 3:00/km... good luck with that.

I love Mat and I think he’s one of the greatest athletes of all time but his body and athletic background is perfect for CrossFit, and he would probably get crushed in hyrox. He’s very short and his neuromuscular + physiological adaptations (tendon strength, muscle lengths and patterning etc) are built for heavy weightlifting and CrossFit. I think if he trained for hyrox for a year or two he could potentially get into the top rankings but I highly doubt he’s coming anywhere close to a sub 55 minute pro hyrox.

Mat, it was such an awesome experience to meet you and the HWPO team and getting to try one of your classic 40 min workouts. I look forward to the day when I can experience what you felt after going unbroken on the pegboard at the 2018 games, hopefully I can match your metaphor that you described as well hahaha.

His mentality is just out of this world. The beach example and how the little stuff matters is out of this planet. Thats why he won 5x in a row. At the end of the day is basically who want it more. He did want it more than everyone else

really enjoyed this video . thank you . Can you share more of how sammy contributed to the team effort and whole success as a couple , others might not understand and appreciate the commitment. . how is your protein powder company doing ? It is a real pleasure to hear your joy of fatherhood and as a family team to explore the the new adventure with your daughter. wonderful to hear you are looking at the quiet hobbies that have been sitting on the back burner. Have you visited with tia - claire, since their new family addition ? You reminded me of DR franco columbo with your dedication to success and giving back . Your video answered beautifully , how things are going up north , gratitude.

It would be awesome to see you competing at Hyrox against the likes of Lance Armstrong, Craig ‘Crowie’ Alexander (3x Ironman World Champion), etc… #legends.- Of course, you’re not in the same age group as those guys, but as a fan it’s awesome to see endurance athletes, triathletes, and cyclists mixing it up with the strength athlete/ CrossFit legends.
