The unique part of this arc is that it was BARELY scripted. No one in L’Manburg knew about eret’s betrayal, the duel’s outcome wasn’t decided, Wilbur and Tommy were literally just messing around and roleplaying Hamilton. Then it slowly turned into something bigger.

Technically none of the outcomes were decided, just later ones had plans for if they happened. I mean, Wilbur was genuinely gonna give up on L'Manburg until Tommy came back with the bittersweet news that he bargained for and got their independence. Also yeah, that arc wasn't scripted period, such a fun time

Ya, the outcome of the election wasn’t planned either. Wilbur said that he had a general idea for all the possible outcomes depending on who won. If i’m mistaken he said that if he and Tommy won it’d probably go full circle and he’d still go batshit crazy.

watching you learn about and get gradually more invested in the dream smp over these past months has been one of my favourite things! if i could suggest something - i think you could really enjoy late august’s animations. the way they tell the story is beautiful and i love their use of music and colour. also, c!dream’s decent is one of my favourite things about the story. his character is absolutely fascinating me and his writing is amazing.

Not in any like- "oh they deserve their land blown up" way but like- They started a nation on a literal drug van, and potions were illegal if I'm remembering right Also both sides were so dramatic so I was so tense and hyped when all those traps were activated

Welcome to the rabbit hole that is the Dream SMP Mathew! This has been my hyperobsession for over a year now. I guess now you can guess why /lh. And don't you worry. It's gonna get better. Much, much better. You think this is deep lore? You ain't seen nothing yet /lh/pos. And that is only the overarching story. There are so many characters now who have their own extensive lore that has impact but is also separate from the main story. Ranboo and Karl for example. And recently Boomer has joined that group. There is so much to learn and so many secrets to uncover, it's one of the greatest stories to be made and it's all told with mild scripting and improv through Minecraft /pos

Definitely keep watching! If you thought the L'Manburg revolution was dramatic, hoo boy, just wait until you get to the Manburg vs. Pogtopia war and then later Doomsday! And in the next episode, you'll see that they actually held a proper election, with different parties in the running, endorsements, an actual proper debate between parties, and a google form that the fans could fill out to actually vote for who they wanted to win!
