Your videos are the best! I commented before about putting your grip on my VXR 28 just before bow seasoned opened up here in Indiana. I’ve gun hunted my whole life but this is my first bow. Filled my buck tag 2 weeks in on a big 8 pointer. I straight up caught the bow fever. Gun is in right now and I’m not even using one this year. I’m going bow only for whitetails from here on out. Getting that first one with a bow was a whole new level of excitement. I was thinking about getting the 31.5 with a single pin and setting it up for longer range shots while hunting field edges and using the 28 in my stand. Looks Like this V3 might be the one. Take care.

that rattle noise is probably the hamskea micro-tune dials. A lot of the time after you tighten the set screws there is still some play in the dials which can cause some vibration noise. Either that or your sight for sure though. Awesome build man!

Awesome build Chris. Great shooting too. I may have to go shoot one of these at my local shop. I think some of the noise you can hear is from the rest cord. My girlfriends dad and I both have VXR 31.5's that we bought at the same shop and had set up by the same guy. His has a Hamskea limb driven rest, and mine has an Ultrarest Integrate. His is slightly, but noticeably louder than mine. It is almost like a "guitar string" type sound. It seems to be coming from the limb driver cord when it goes from slack to tight, and creating a small vibration since it is attached to the spring, and therefore has some movement capability. Since the Ultrarest goes from tight to slack, it doesn't make this sound. It is minor, and more personal preference. Even with that tiny noise, it is still an incredibly quiet bow. Just my 2 cents, and something to check out and see if it is in fact making some noise. I know mine is dead quiet.
@l.i.archer53792 жыл бұрын
The RS string level doesn't snap onto the bare string snug and flops backwards. You have to get it on the serving to give you the true level of the string, or just push the level against the string lightly to get it flush to the string.

It sounds like it's still making a 'buzz' sound even after tightening that cap. My VXR makes the same noise. I narrowed it down to loose fiber optics in the sight. I'm almost positive that's your problem as well, sounds exactly the same as mine. I run a Fast Eddie. Not sure if there's much you can do to fix it other than seeing if the sight can be warranted out for a new one.

I’m sure someone has already mentioned it. Just be careful pressing the v3 bows and any other “past parallels” limbs on the last chance options. The fingers have to be moved all the way in so they don’t put tension on that skinny part of the limb. Sweet bow build though!

Sorry to tell you Chris but the blue part of the flame is actually the hottest, while the orange/yellow is the coolest. The reason things burn better (cord melting) in the orange part of the flame is due to the volume of the flame. If you look at the volume of blue flame to orange flame, there is substantially more orange flame. This allows more heat to be conducted into the material you are burning. So while your logic is correct that the blue flame will heat the cord slower, its actually because of volume not temperature. Thanks for the great video!
