I get asked about storage a lot but unfortunately I don't feel comfortable filming my collection - I prefer my videos to be concise and based on a concept or theme, so showing everything I own would feel materialistic to me. I enjoy seeing other people's, just not my style to film mine. I don't have any fancy tips either 😂 Definitely no beauty room or vanity! My products are just divided up in small boxes inside bathroom drawers, and thinner items are in glass jars or empty candles x

There’s an Onda Beauty store in Sag Harbor, which is about a 1/2 hr away from where I live, and I can’t wait to get over there! They do special events and even had a dinner last week that was a “who’s who” of the fashion and beauty world. Naomi Watts actually lived down the road from me when she and Liev Schreiber were still together, but I think he has the house now. 😊

This might be unrelated to the content but after seeing lots of your videos, i realized that being a minimalist in make up ( i am one too) doesn’t mean u have too own less make up products. It’s so amazing that your channel has taught me about make up and style so much, besides a wide range of products of course. I used to feel so bad for buying more make up because i have always been following principles strictly so it feels really good when i can find the boundary between being a minimalist and still being able to enjoy make up in order to create my own signature. Thank you Matilda. Great video as always.❤️❤️❤️ P/S: can u share your favorite perfume brands for the next video? Maybe some jewelries too? My fascination with makeup is all about experimenting with colour and texture, so although I love a fresh minimal look, I certainly love playing 'beauty editor' and finding new products I enjoy. Glad you do too! ☺️ You'll find a review of Lisa Eldridge's lipsticks on my channel from back in January. I've actually worn the same perfume for about 8 years because I love having a signature scent, but I might film a trip down perfume memory lane one day. Just sticking to beauty and travel content at this stage, but some of my favourite jewellery brands are Sarah + Sebastian, PetiteGrand, Holly Ryan and Dinosaur Designs. All Australian! x

This was such a beautifully shot, concise and atmospheric video. Really lovely to watch, thank you. Sadly I've recently learned that oils and fragrance in skincare is a no-no for me, and cut them all out of my regime. It significantly reduces the products I'm able to buy in natural stores like this!!! 😖 Plus side, I'm using cheaper pharmacy products and can more easily splash out on Rahua shampoos! 😅

Hope it helps ;) Daytime is really simple - I will use a salicylic acid or a glycolic, at the moment I'm finishing up some Paula's Choice and Framboos from Drunk Elephant, but will use a salicylic wash next. Then I do an SPF from Ultrasun (no oil or frag!) and use Keihls tinted mineral SPF on top throughout the day. Evening I double cleanse with an oil cleanser from Simple, and a cream cleanser from La Roche Posay Toleriane range. I use a retinol, A+ from Sunday Riley (it's AMAZING but a bit pricey! Will move to tretinoin gel when I finish it!) Then I layer on Hada Labo Perfect Gel cream or Neutrogena Hydroboost for hydration, and seal it all in with a light Toleriane cream or COSRX rice lotion. Keep me posted ;)
