The drake allegations…after all this back and forth with Kendrick 🤯
@headdog4 жыл бұрын
Shane talking positively about SNL’s writing at this point is hilarious. He had obviously auditioned and was waiting to find out when this was recorded and was justifying it to himself by commenting on how Michael Che was head writer and that the place wasn’t as woke at that point. I know they have a full scout team but you can almost guarantee that comics like Che and Pete Davidson recommended Girris to the producers.

There was like 15 school shooting in the 40s, most were adults mind you but it's not like this is a new thing
@jussiniemi95603 жыл бұрын
@@nintendoROX121 Yeah you can say it's a new thing... Kids killing kids in schools. If there were 15 school shootings in the 1940's and in the year 2021 alone theres been over 100. Also: a "school shooting" in the 40's went like this: "After being removed as principal of South Pasadena Junior High School, Verlin Spencer shot six school officials, killing five, before attempting to commit suicide by shooting himself in the stomach" or: "May 23, 1940: New York City, New York Infuriated by a grievance, Matthew Gillespie, 62-year-old janitor at the junior school of the Dwight School for Girls, shot and critically wounded Mrs. Marshall Coxe, secretary of the junior school." These are not modern school shootings where anybody is a target.
@nintendoROX1213 жыл бұрын
@@jussiniemi9560 there wasn't really a major spike like you're talking about until '94 and at that point SSRIs had already been around for over half a decade. There might be some other reason but there's no proof SSRIs play any part in this other than the fact that mentally ill people are more likely to shoot up a school so people use the fact that they were all on a certain type of medication as correlative evidence
@jussiniemi95603 жыл бұрын
@pablo escavez there's no proof that "mentally ill" people are more likely to shoot up schools than ones not afflicted. After all "mentally ill" had been going on since the beginning of times in the 40's, when these adult to adult "school shootings" you are talking about, happened. And the ones in the 40's are 90% disgruntled adult employees killing their adult employers or the persons that fired them. You also say: "There might be some other reason" I say, there are many other reasons. Only two of of which are easy access to guns, and children put on brain chemistry changing pharmaceuticals. Americans love to look everywhere but the mirror for the blame. "On Sept. 14, 1989, Wesbecker, a pressman who had been placed on long-term disability leave for severe mental illness, entered Standard Gravure around 8:30 a.m., carrying a bag full of weapons, including a semiautomatic rifle. Over the next 30 minutes, Wesbecker walked through the building, firing more than 40 rounds at those he encountered before shooting himself in the head with a handgun. It is the worst mass shooting in Kentucky's history. In 1994, a fiercely litigated, 11-week trial took place in Louisville in which Wesbecker's victims and their families said the Prozac he took helped incite his murderous rampage." "LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The drugmaker that produces Prozac, the antidepressant that Joseph Wesbecker’s victims blamed for his deadly shooting rampage 30 years ago at Standard Gravure, secretly paid the victims $20 million to help ensure a verdict exonerating the drug company." Nothing going on here... Load up on guns and them fentanylhitters....

@@nintendoROX121 Oh heres a quote from 2020: "Stockholm, Sweden: Scientists have found that some people being treated with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) have a greater tendency to commit violent crime. In addition, this effect seems to continue for up to 12 weeks after stopping SSRI treatment.
