What I love about their friendship, and them, is that they fed off of each other. Just the perfect combination as friends first, but both had the _focus_ to make it happen. Just amazing to me.

Every since a kid I would sit in front of the tv and watch my favorite cartoons with my friends and my siblings and i would always shout out "Thats me thats me" "I wanna be that person" because i felt a connection to the character which drove me to this day to try to follow my dream to become a entertainer when I think of actoring i get butterflies and my eyes get teary because cartoons and shows and movies was my was out of a rough reality i was living at the moment one day and i truely mean one day there will be a kid watching me on tv or watching a character im playing and say "thats me" until then my dream won't be complete until then i won't quit and ill drive off thoses words and carry the weight as a 16 year old kid i know what i want to do with my life and I'll try my best to accomplish it. One day

I took private lessons with Gerry many years ago, and he's a wonderful guy, incredibly down to earth, and really does put the emphasis on just "do the work." He subtly broke down that which was complicated and instilled confidence, and I often considered our sessions therapeutic. I've heard Matt, Ben and Casey all mention him, by name, in their interviews over the years - so you know how much they genuinely revere the man, and for good reason.

@@lilconcon7431 Physically, sure. They don’t call him “Big Matt.” But as a serious actor, in both heavy dramas and dark comedies? 🤨

I really like the format of this show, and think that the interviewer is solid in his questions. My only issue is the music at the end that is like the Countdown clock almost... Take from that what you will. I'm still watching.

Take acting classes! Since you're young, focus on taking class, theater camp, etc, and think about potentially going to school for acting. If you want a little professional experience, there is probably a UK equivalent to Backstage or whatever trade publication posts job listings for actors at a semi-professional level. If you take classes and find good teachers, etc, you will get more information about these things and grow from there.

Never lose hope, Dig deep and connect to your self, try and find something that resonates to you like for example helping people. if you have a sense to help then go down that path say you like to draw then you could become a Artist and through your passion inspire people by your Art and help them, never lose hope my friend even the most famous actors didn't get notice till they were old like Mark Ruffelo (hulk) he didn't get noticed as an Actor till his he got the role as hulk when he was age 40, Good luck my friend and hope you find that carrier you were destined for :)

Stallone was dirt poor at 29 years old before writing the script and acting in Rocky I. He was so poor he had to sell his own dog. You're never too old to make a break. Never. ( Susan Boyle, Tina Turner, etc.)

Citizen of Earth I am 28 and am now wanting to get into the entertainment business. I always have wanted to. I just never really tried. I've finally gotten tired of just sitting around dreaming about it so I am now taking charge of my dreams. Don't let your age bring you down. It's never too late. You can do it! 😊

Hey Matt I cannot wait to see you in the Martian. Just with some of the clips I have watched and visualized! a lot of people don't understand that. You literally have to visualize eat and sleep being their. This and the camera is how the magic happens. I look forward to watching it.
