I also want to add that I remember years ago seeing people posting KZbin buying fx airguns like the impact and showing barrels that looked unfinished.

I own two impacts and one crown. They were a lot of work to find the sweet spots, but they all shoot sub moa at 100 yards. Velocity is a factor no matter what gun you have, firearms included. Learn your rifle folks! It’s part of shooting.

Well, I expect that reviewers in many industries- not just airguns- get cherry-picked products to review. I would also expect anyone with access to a bunch of an item where there will be some variance between samples - I.e. wood grain on rifle stocks, barrels, etc - to pick the “best” ones for themselves - you would too if you had access. I think it’s a stretch to call the FX barrels sold to customers “rejects or junk” - as they should all be within factory spec and passed quality control measures. I have not bought an FX rifle myself as I come from a family of engineers and I just can’t get past the “thin steel tube supported by o-rings inside a thin shroud “ type of FX barrel system. I do understand that they shoot very well in most cases. I might become an FX owner someday if they start bonding the carbon fiber sleeve to the steel “liners” at the factory. The cost would be nominal to FX and would address the flex / harmonics issue from using a long, thin steel tube - especially in 600+ cm “barrels”. I’d imagine that FX would pay less than $5 per carbon fiber sleeve when bought in volume- and it would still make switching “liners with cf sleeves” cost effective for the consumer. I like your videos, you make great points, but your point here might be a bit too harsh…

Is an FX gun cost-effective at $2200 for an impact with that crap barrel and it’s crap I’m gonna call it like it is crap crap crap crap crap. You’re an engineer why didn’t you fix it like I fix mine. Crap is crap no matter how you try to dress it up crap and people deserve better anybody who bought those guns got robbed and they deserve better. A Lotta good great people bought those guns like I did and they got screwed. And I’m on a call FX effects tell them why you just can’t don’t haveIt turned right you got to get it to the correct speed and this and that. PS all of this BS

This video just shows your ignorance. People that shoot competitive especially in the firearm industry know that each barrel is always slightly different than the next one that comes off the line. It is completely normal to test multiple barrels in the same rifle and get different results with each and have one that performs better than the rest. I just don't get why you call out people on things that are normal practice... i.e. testing multiple barrels for competition grade rifles. I mean your really just talking out your wazoo because of your ignorance. Just worry about putting good content out and helping others and not bashing already successful people.

It is FX that needs to answer this, using Earnest Rowe's liner selection as the reason. Rowe is trying to make customers happy. He is the service guy - not the liar.

Amazing the truth is always out there if you search hard enough. Regular folks like me will buy an air rifle worth over $2,000 not counting accessories with barrels you don't even know where rejected. That is why probably most of us need to polish our barrels because it's unfinished uneven and rejected buy some pompous Elite KZbin air-gunner.

It’s sad because these guns are extremely expensive and you would expect better quality. But because they’re so cheap and I don’t wanna purchase barrels from Walther they spit these barrels out like 3000 an hour because there’s simple and easy to make. And then they sell them to Us. I remembered dubber holding up a target and saying this is what we got in the 11th hour. It was like a quarter inch group. And on all my affects guns that never happened. 15 grand all in total on their guns. And that is my fault for believing. And the funny thing is if you click on a random Airgun video if you’re set on auto for another one it just automatically come on it’s usually an Matt Delbert talking about how good the barrels are a fax is paying a ramp that up. And then when these guys get these guns and then go on the forms and they say I can’t get mine to shoot good people just tell them while you got it you got a find the right speed the sweet spot and if they have a bad barrel they never find the sweet spot and they say well it must be me but this is good enough to inches at 100 yards is good enough

@@amazingairguns6350 I bought a Taipan Mutant in 2016. I didn't have to find a "sweet spot". It shoots everything good. And the sidelever stays in one piece no problem after all these years.
