Just get a later metro dash with the rev counter and make it work. Rev counter is just fed from coil/ecu. You may get lucky with fuel gauge but there are gizmos to tweak signals for fuel gauge and there's even something to adapt elec to mechanical speedo now. The rest of the bits like the idiot lights is just simple wiring.

put the scooby clocks straight into the bare dash, cut the switch surround + cluster front to suit. ...well, might work... goal for 2024, get new logbooks for the boys + get them on road cider indian cider icecream cider

When I fitted the dash into my metro I made a metal extension that screwed into the three original fittings below the windscreen, this allowed me to cut the dash from behind so the vents remain uncut, roll cage fits right behind the vents, this allows you to slide the dash into place. Screw dash to metal extension when happy with position. Liver bacon onion peas gravy and spuds tonight.

Matt, there are lights in the top bits of the dash, just indicators, side/headlights, door ajar etc. Looks like it almost fits anyway, only really losing the top of the speedo, but you’ll be fine if you keep it over 120 😂👍

Without the plastic bit that the clocks sit in does the Subaru clocks fit in the dash maybe a 3D printed housing would work chicken fried rice an shredded chicken tonight

Great to see Frank back, I own an R53 Mini Cooper S which Is great fun but between Frank and Lemmy, Frank wins hands down. Matt good decision to get an original Metro dash mate 👍.
