I've never been pregnant- contraception or otherwise- and I married later in life so the odds of pregnancy were already low. I'm starting to go through 'the change' now. But a few years ago I went through another change, after struggling with the abortion issue for years. These testimonies and life-affirming images, like sonograms and videos of babies in-utero, CAN change minds and hearts. There are atheists who have come to believe that each unborn child is a wholly separate human and must be allowed to live. I can pray to God for those unborn children, and for those who speak up for their right to life.

Ok so a bit of backstory, one of the ladies at my church is a pro-life speaker and she’s actually best friends with Abby Johnson (she’s actually the godmother of Abby’s unborn 8th child currently 😄) and she was “in the know” about a lot of the stuff that went into making this movie (they even got to visit the set during filming!) and she told us the story behind this song being in the movie. So they wanted a title song just like most Christian movies do (think God’s Not Dead lol) and they were considering a bunch of different Christian artists like Lauren Daigle etc... but they couldn’t decide, and then they ended up calling Matthew West about it and he said “I can’t believe you guys are actually talking to me about this right now” and that it had been on his heart for a couple of months before that phone call, and that he had already written it. Then he started singing it over the phone to them 😭 and obviously the rest is history :D And Mr. West, I already loved you and your music before this but I have infinitely more respect for you now because of this 😭 thank you!

We were blessed with one beautiful miracle, who was with us for about nine weeks, before God called him home almost 12 years ago. I'm a girl that had an abortion. I'm 17 and got pregnant at 16. I regret every moment of it I feel ashamed I feel hurt that I took one of Gods children away from this life. The father thought he knew everything made me stress so much made me cry almost everyday, I couldn't keep no food water nothing down. I wanted to give it up for adoption but then the father was going to take me to court to fight to keep the baby. I come from a poor family I live in a house that is falling apart barley can put food in the house every month. I couldn't bare to take care of a baby and not myself. To this day I cry I hold my stomach almost every night. I knew the things that I was going to have to go through I was getting so much hate for just being pregnant my pappy didn't want me to come near him due to having an abortion. When the father found out I was getting an abortion he made me feel worthless, hurt, he downgraded me and to this day he harasses me about killing a baby he keeps telling me I took his happiness and he was going to take the baby and raise it himself. After i got the abortion I tried to kill myself because of what I did and from what the father was doing to me. I live in guilt and in shame. I stopped going to church after I got the abortion because in the bible its against abortions and I thought to myself I don't deserve to step in a church and act like nothing ever happened but all I can say is that since the new year 2019 has start I've came more to God and he has blessed me with so much and I don't deserve the blessing he has been giving me. But as a teen that has gone through an abortion I want to help other girls through everything I regret what I did. To this day I'm back in church and I've grown stronger and it was a rough time but I've grown stronger with myself and the Lord. This song makes me cry but crying is ok. But this is my story and I don't people to hate on me I've gotten that alot but this is my story :)

Just watched the Unplanned movie a couple weeks ago and I couldn't help but cry. Word needs to get out about this topic - it's very controversial but people need to understand that abortion is NEVER necessary, it's MURDER. I'm doing a presentation on abortion in school in a couple weeks from now so I have been researching and learning a lot. Before I started digging deeper into the topic though, I always knew it was wrong, but it never occurred to me until now how it's actually done and the extent of it all. I'm married and all my kids came "unplanned" but am so happy they came just at the right time. I had many hopes in the future I thought was for me ( career), but it turned out God had a better future for me, one I didn't dreamt of. I & one of my sisters were unplanned, but I never would have known it unless my parents hadn't told my sister & me. I was somewhat surprised to find this out many years ago, because my parents always loved us & put us first before themselves. Yes, my parents were Christians, & they are in heaven now. I was "unplanned" as well. My mother, being single, never thought even once to abort me. My mom chose life instead of the alternative. Beautiful song. I loved my daughter since I saw that positive sign on the pregnancy test. Ultrasound technology is amazing being able to see the life inside. Seeing the flickers of her heart beat at 6 weeks, seeing her arms and legs dancing around at 12 weeks, seeing that she was a she at 17 weeks, and seeing her precious face at 31 weeks even when all she wanted to do was bury her face in the placenta. She looked just like she did at 31 weeks when I gave birth 6 weeks later. The side by side photos were identical down to the facial expressions.

My mom got pregnant with me at 17 and was graduating that same year. She wanted to abort me due to her not having a job and enough money to support us both. Thankfully on the due I was going to be abort a young couple changed her mind. I'm turning 17 in August and love my mother unconditionally. I was “unplanned” as well and my mother considered abortion. She didn’t know how she would take care of her other children while being sick with pregnancy. By a miraculous chance, I was the only pregnancy which didn’t make her feel sick and consequently decided to keep me. I am forever thankful to God for sparing my life and my children’s lives who would not have been here had my mom made the choice. This song made me realize that there is a reason God breaks my 💔 for babies, because I have to tell my story of survival. I was born at 25 weeks and it breaks my 💔 that babies are being aborted after the second trimester when I was born. I think life starts at conception. But those who have aborted a baby know God forgives and loves you. My mom didn't know she was pregnant till 18 weeks so I was pretty "unplanned". My mom also did all the wrong things like drink and use birth control while pregnant and I still survived. I was literally a mistake. I was born broken and God healed me and made me beautiful. Pray for moms to make the right choice choose Life. If I can make it against the odds your baby needs a chance. Babies are a blessing from God no matter the circumstance.

My bros and I were all "pleasant surprises." We could've been aborted, and no one could've stopped them; but my mom said that wasn't even an option. I was a new immigrant in Canada, two months into a permanent job when my husband and I discovered I was pregnant. Although I always wanted to be a mom, money was tight, and the future uncertain as I was also supporting two elderly parents back home, and my only sibling left his job because of a Phd scholarship. This song touches my heart, I loss two babies of my own, no fault of my own, one a miscarriage and the other an ectopic pregnancy and I still yearn for them both. And by the grace of God I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy who is going to be twelve years old soon . But he is aware that mommy was pregnant twice before he came along because every Christmas I hang out two extra Christmas stockings and he asked me why I do this and I told him about his two baby siblings that didn't make it into the world. But, It’s so difficult for me to move on. He wanted me to get an abortion and I didn’t want that for my child.
