I've sold quite a few sets of three of those owls over the last few years at $50 per set. I even made a couple of simple jigs to do the eyes and nose. The only thing I add are black obsidian beads glued in for the pupils. The best part is that all the 4x4's came from an old pole barn that used to be on my property.

Thats why I never made any of this stuff, I would never buy it in my life, if I was rich as Bill gates I still wouldn't, guess thats why its hard to make money sometimes. So many people just want dumb things. I was selling hand turned wooden bowls for 25-35 at a consignment shop, and some guy was taking half rotten wood, using a belt sander to make it heart shape, leaving it no better then 150 grit finish and hot gluing magnets to the back and selling for 20 a pc. I couldn't sell 4-5 bowls a month, he was selling dozens of those shitty magnets, I don't get it

Candy corn!! Hey Matthew! How’s the hunting season! Sent you some rain from SC!😂 Since watching your videos I have found myself walking around lumber yards trying to figure out what I can use to make something unique. Landscape timbers are an excellent idea! Since fence pickets was my go to wood (since watching your channel) I have experimented with various different woods and other cheaper wood things to up my game. Believe it or not you inspired me to try out the pumpkins with the landscape timbers. This along other projects I’m doing is going to help me raise money to go see my mom in KY in November. She took ill and is currently in a rehab facility up that way it being disabled and on limited income I have been working on trying to make money to come see her. Thank you Matthew for what you do as these videos help me make me make my goals and I’m sure that others benefit from your ideas too!!

Candy Corn Canadians have something called a Kerr's Molasses Kiss. Popular opinion is they are gross, but I love them, I may go buy a bag later today. If you want a cheap easy way to add small designs you can give this a try; Laser printers use heat transfer ink, so you can print out a design (like your company logo) lay it face down on the surface of the wood and run a household iron over it. The heat transfer ink will be transferred to the wood.
