I'm from the UK and seeing you make Bakes and Saltfish with your grandma, reminds me of doing the same with my mum and great grandmother who was from Guyana. May they both continue to RIP🙏🏾🙏🏾

the fish must be fried first to burn out fish wrenck ,after 2 minutes then add seasoning

Once you boil the fish it should not taste rank. Remember everyone does everything differently

My grandma is 90 and can no longer teach me recipes. i know quite a bit but did not master bake. thank you for doing these videos because they help people like me (1st generation american) continue on with our guyanese culture.
