I have been watching the LCN for years now. Obsessed Garage was the first youtube channel I ever subscribed to and its great to see collaboration like this. There is a reason my car is coated with CSL EXO and my lawn is mowed with a super recycler. Keep up the great work guys and thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Great collab! I never thought I’d care about lawns either until I started watching Allyn’s video and really got into the nitty gritty of why the lawn is doing what it’s doing and how to correct those issues. Now I LOVE working on my lawn. Allyn is great and his products are great also.

One other nice thing about the "smart" timers is that they can see the weather and adjust based on the amount of rain that you get. I did an orbit smart controller that mike could probably install in about 47 seconds at my house. the grass is happier AND my water usage went down.

I’m definitely hooked on detailing my cars even more so after finding your videos. Recently after installing my new lawns I was eager to learn about having it stay as plush and green throughout the year. Yes thankfully there are great videos on how to and getting the right equipment to assist the average homeowner. Unfortunately I do this to myself on everything I get involved with. My gun collection and upgrades is another passion I have that I continue to chase. Hopefully your grass comes back and you show us the results .

Installed a Rachio a few years ago. It monitors the weather and adjust if you get rain. Pays for itself. Highly recommend 👍

Damnit I felt so called out at 31:30 - 32:00... I'm very obsessive with hobbies, and I just took up golf exactly 1 month ago. I've played 3-4 rounds a week since buying clubs, I pay $100 a week for lessons, and now I'm working on a new business venture designing a 3D printed titanium putter with advice from some golf pros that I've now established a relationship with through social media.... I like how Matt was quick to claim victory after one heavy fert app. Like, that's all it is? I think Allyn let him bask in victory and just held back with all the other stuff. But knowing Matt was going to be quick to bail, that was the right call. After a little success and improvement the desire for a better lawn grows, but it will never be perfect and the process continues...

Matt look into the rain machine. I have been using the Touch HD and it's solid and can work without an internet connection, should the service cut out for whatever reason. It's also able to be programmed and controlled from your phone

I mean I might be wrong here and I’m no physicist but wouldn’t a cup fill up with a 1/2” of water faster than a 5 gallon bucket? Like how is this used to measure how much it’s laying down if the size if the vessel is different?

It's a bit hard to change the thinking because you normally think of filling containers from a tap. You aren't trying to measure how much water is in the vessel as a volume, but how much vertical space it takes up. Imagine if rain fell down onto a patch of land equally. You have a cup and a bucket out. Because the rain is falling equally throughout the space the bucket and the cup will have the same height of rain, but the bucket will contain significantly more rain because it takes up more space on the lawn.
