Transmission Removal [2002 Mitsubishi Lancer]

In this video, I show how to remove the transmission on this 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer. I am removing it because I am going to rebuild it as well as I need to replace the rear main seal.

I think the way you show how you do the work is awesome! I am having an issue with what I believe is my transmission slipping and wish I could begin to understand how to attempt to fix it. Hopefully, in time, with your how to videos I'll muster up the courage to do so.

next time on for the axle removal twist it a 1/4inch until it is easy 2 remove u have to have the clip on the axle in the right spot makes it easier good vid

thanks so much dude with this information I will be able to complete my conversion as I have a automatic but I'm converting it to a manual because I want to mod it but what's the point since it's automatic so I thank you so much it will happen soon after I buy the brake pedal,clutch pedal,clutch assembly,clutch master cylinder,and the transmission I will keep you updated

My 2002 lancer (automatic) transmission does that awful grinding sound when i put it on Drive or reverse, im not good with cars so i dont know what the problem with it and i also dont know how much it would cost to get it fixed. So im debating if i should let it go or not cause i dont know if its worth keeping.
