Peanut is the smartest about finding ways to cool down. When the other dogs are standing in a puddle she's trying to dive in it to get as wet as possible. She'll dig holes in the hot sand to find some cooler sand to lay in, and cool down. Hell of a dog. Rarely if ever is she more than 3 feet away from Matt, unless she's leading the way on a recovery of course. Matt, you and LIzzie once talked about how you found her on the side of the road, can you talk about that? Do the dogs come home with you after work, or do they live at the shop?

If you didn't use rubber isolators when mounting that Hero case then the whole vehicle will be a sounding board amplifying the gear noise. Also there is a rubber isolator for the driveshaft that on Itallian vehicles is called a Guibo that does limit straight cut gear noise from resonating off drive shafts. Of course there is the option to pull the gears and better micro polish them along with better lubricants too however better isolation is whats mostly needed. Best!

Yea Colby hit the nail on the head. Recently moved to TX from Socal for a better life and cheaper living. I love TX, but every square inch of land is privately owned. I very much miss the freedom of just offroading out in the mountains and dirt biking, camping for free every weekend. Out in TX you have to pay to get into private parks anytime you wanna do that stuff.

my mind was blown in the opposite direction, lived all my life in Texas and now moved to New Mexico, there is SO MUCH AMAZING FREE PUBLIC-ACCESS LAND for offroading, running, camping, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and everything else I didn't even slightly comprehend the issue of 100% Texas being privately owned until I got somewhere else

Still burning thru old vids. Re-watching mostly, but now and then I find one I haven't seen. Matt's being unimpressed with the Grand Canyon is relatable. I grew up with Grand Coulee Dam as a feature locally. As a kid I could not understand why people were coming from across the country and world just to see the dam..... it was just normal....

I can’t tell which is funnier… “Never unhook a trailer” or some of your other comments. I love the videos and comments. Entertaining as heck.

I'm here in Southern Oregon and almost all of our off pavement rds are cinder. They also use it on rds for winter traction.

@14:23 - I totally agree. Years ago I took a trip out west going as far as 4 corners. By the time we got to the Grand Canyon I had the exact same reaction. "Ehh" I had already been desensitized by the drive over, spent 5 minutes on the look out, and drove off. Do the park justice and plan ahead to spend some time there. I missed a great opportunity back then.

High lift jack --- crank up high - push over may need 2 or 3 times but 'I loves me' a high lift!

I drove my Accord to the top of that paved section by the Restricted Test area. It’s so steep and challenging. Fantastic views. 🇨🇦
