Asuras are malevolent supernatural beings in hindu mythology. Yasha is a reference to the group of nature spirits known by the same name ( often also spelled as Yaksha ). Vajra can either mean "thunder" or "diamond", and Vlitra is a reference to "Vritra", the dragon-like creature that brings drought, defeated by Indra, originally the king of the gods, with his weapon, the vajra ( the same one that I mentioned ). The term "gohma" is more than likely meant to represent the group of demons known as "gouma" or karmic demons, although information about them are scarce in English. You may have heard the term in either SMT or Shin Sekai Yori.

@@joycehayes1454 From when I played, you had to buy it for a whopping $6.99 extra about a month after the game released, and I don't think it was ever added to the base game. Which means if you didn't get the dlc back when it was available, you can never get the real ending now.

An Asura is one of the bad reincarnations a person can get and will end up living on the Hindu version of Mt. Olympus as a 3 faced 9 armed buff demon like thing that is always angry and wants to fight all the time.

I always thought it was one of the good ones. Hell, Hungry Ghost and Beast suck. One is torture, another is just starving your whole life, and the last is probably going to be short and end in getting murdered. Human, Asura and Deva are increasingly cool. Humans can think and get wasted like, a bunch. Asura are sick punch-dudes with six arms that get to fight and toss fireballs. Deva can fly on swords, party in clouds and live like a million years.

I actually really enjoyed this game, admittedly mostly for the spectacle but that's what I showed up for. But I had a thought, with the recent announcement of a Dragon's Dogma anime on Netflix.... if Capcom was so eager for another anime on Netflix alongside Devil May Cry I'm surprised this wasn't considered.

I can get behind you doing this episodic like the missions in the game. I used to love this game. It's mostly for the story beats. I hated that you had to pay for the ending (but I didn't as I had an chipped xbox then). I still wish they re-released this as a cheap download with everything included but I think Capcom are embarrassed by this as it was during the dark part of the 2010s in Capcoms history. There are a lot of people crying out for its return though so who knows. Especially now Capcom have been slowly returning to form

I remember always wanting to play it but never doing so because I couldn't afford it (nor did I want my mom yelling). Watched a playthrough of the first ep a while ago and what blew my mind there is what does here: The Scale. Seeing that fucking Brahmastra space station or seeing Vitra sticking his dick out of the Earth is legit gut-wrenching, beings the size of humans being on the level of this horrifying God-sized structures, it's so fucking scary to me.

Man, I am soooo soooooooooo happy to hear the music from this game again, the OST is amazing AF and I LOVE IT :D Edit : Yeah, MAYBE having the god damn ending in the game would be a good idea if they remade the game, and not, you know, have you do the last god damn hell last stage (that is super hard and long btw) 3 GOD DAMN TIMES before telling you it's a DLC. That's was the worst middle finger by a game I have ever seen and the only thing I genuinly dislike about this game. (Street fighter DLC is epic though, love it's ending ^^)
