There was a paperback book that came out sometime as the movie. I was obsessed by this movie and digested all I could about it. The book was phenomenal. In it, it explains what was going through her mind. She was really preoccupied with making good notes for Max, she didn't pay any attention to what she read & wrote. It was all too technical for her. When Max comes in, she's so bent on impressing him that she starts regurgitating EVERYTHING. It's not until she says "capacitor" out loud that she realizes what hes doing. In the book, she feels the colour drain from her face when she notices that Max knows she knows too much. Amazing scene. Tim Burton did amazing things with these characters!

4:45 Christopher Walken probably wishes he could do this to people who ask him about the death of Natalie Wood.

Lmaoooo it literally made no sense for her to do that. Lmaooo Thats like me telling my roommate I read her diary when she would have never known unless I told her.

What's also neat about this scene is that when she's at her desk, the shadow from her glasses creates the catwoman mask; a cool bit of foreshadowing.

This is why Glassdoor was invented. "1/5 stars, boss pushed me out of window, DO NOT WORK HERE! View is nice though."

The one and only thing I feel like could've been added to this scene is, when Selina sits down in the chair and Max sits on the desk, Max could've said; "You know, they ARE called protected files for a reason, Ms. Kyle...because I'd like to protect them from...prying assistants."

Well acted and edited scene! I wonder how striking the ending of it would've been without the scream... Because I don't think Pfeiffer's screaming as she's falling.

Max Shreck should have been canonized in the comics, he's a worthy Batman villain.

That was one nasty fall Selina Kyle took there - it could’ve killed her, but she survived. That Max Shreck was pure evil for what he did to her and that’s what drove Selina to become Catwoman. But just imagine if Batman was on a rooftop nearby still on his routine patrol of Gotham City and saw Selina being pushed out of the window by Shreck, he would’ve dived in and saved her from falling thus have Shreck captured and thrown inside Arkham Asylum. Then Selina wouldn’t have become Catwoman nor fight and fall in love with Batman neither.
