I'll have to check mine in those spots. Just got a 4'x8' sheet of 11 gauge to make a bucket of very similar dimensions to yours. With the thinner material im looking to keep the bucket weight to under 250 lbs with the attachment plate. Plan is to just use it for moving snow

@nnordin384 Cool! I might start trying to weld this summer!! My dad's pretty solid at it.

Just got a new 54" bucket, so this might be next on the list before counter weights...😂

@woodnyardjunkie Nice!!!! It takes a bit of getting used to but when you get settled with it. You can really move material!! Let me know how it goes!!!

That cross member is not a tube. Its a channel with a plate welded to it on the bottom. Many of the AGT mini skids are a open channel in that area. On most of the AGT mini skids, that channel cross member flexes bad. Most don't have the bottom plate, just a open bottom channel cross member. Did you add the plate on the bottom of the channel cross member? I'm working on a self levelling bucket kit to fix that failure point and increase the strength of the loader. It will work on all the 400 size AGT mini skids. That cross member is a fail on all the 400 size AGT mini skids. There was no reason to have that top mount stick up so high. They could have used a trunnion-mounted cylinders, meaning the top mount would have been on the body of the cylinder, eliminating the need for the tall mount with all the damaging leverage.

Great info as always! We just added the header plate you see and the 3 straps. That cross tube is a Triangle type tube. so the top there is rounded basically angle 90 then they welded a flat to that if that makes sense.

I posted my crt23 damage on facebook. My triangle tube bent. Did yours bend, did you have to bend it back? It seems to affect the curl of the bucket too. Also, did you fit spacers around the pin where the hydraulic mounts to the arm? Mine seems to be turning sideways.

I bent it back by pushing down on the bucket, you might need to put a 6x6 under your bucket to achieve that if you have original bucket. No spacers added, just the metal strap welded there which I pulled back together with 2 pipe clamps. Let me know if that helps.

Sorry for this unrelated question but you have many videos and I'm not sure if you covered it somewhere already...did you change out grease fittings with standard zerk fittings? If so, can you attach a link. Thank you!
@TheJBros520Ай бұрын
Yes, swapped all the pie looking ones or whatever to standard 1/4 inch zerks. I just bought a kit so I didn't screw up plus I needed others. www.amazon.com/Neiko-50463A-Hydraulic-Fitting-Straight/dp/B0020MRLV2?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&gQT=2&th=1

I ordered this set but the threaded side is not the correct size for the female side in the machine. It's in between 1/4 and 1/8

@907sb8 none worked

@TheJBros520 no. I ordered a metric set that includes m6,m8, and m10. Hopefully the m8 will work
