Maxed Out - 6 Ways to Patina Copper

In this video I test six different methods to patina copper. Using a smaller extra sheet of copper, I use saltwater, vinegar, saltwater vinegar, muriatic acid, diluted muriatic acid, and ammonia in different squares to see which of these solutions will give me the best results. This test was crucial to my work for the Iron Oak sculpture which will feature over a thousand patinated copper leaves.

if you wanted them with a deep red patina you heat it until it is red hot and quench it in boiling water. Would look gorgeous for an autumn copper tree
