Yes, things have changed quite a bit and there are now more visitors to the Colosseum than ever before. In 2019 there were over 7 million visitors just to this monument!

Is it allowed to wear short pants in the Coloseum ?

Yes, there are not many restrictions about what you can wear to visit the Colosseum, except that no large backpacks are allowed. I would suggest the most comfortable shoes and clothing possible.

You can get the ticket at the collesium but You might not get in for that day.

I'm not sure which fountain you mean, but if it's the nasone, or fontanella, we do put our hands underneath the spicket, so that the water comes out the top. They are made that way on purpose. Thanks for watching!
