Amity's new hair is so significant in a sense that this is her way of breaking free of her family's control. Odalia was the one to force Amity to dye her hair, so with this new hairstyle Amity is not only saying that she is her own person, not just a Blight, she's also saying she's not someone her mother can control anymore.

I do want to clarify something about "regular super witch," though. "Regular" is one of those words with 50 billion meanings that make English oh so fun to learn as a second language, and this is one of its somewhat less common usages. It's related to the meaning of "regular" in the sense of "conforming to requirements" (as opposed to "irregular"). The dictionary entry I found (which also marked this as a "dated" usage, which surprised me), says: "Rightly so called; complete; absolute (used for emphasis)." That entry includes the example sentence: "This place is a regular fisherman's paradise." The word "regular" is also often used in combination with famous/iconic people, places, or things. For example, if someone is incredibly smart, you might describe them as "a regular Einstein," while a musical prodigy might be called "a regular Mozart," and a particularly beautiful place might be "a regular Garden of Eden." And, of course, all of these can be said sarcastically to mean the opposite. Long story short: Luz was definitely complimenting Gus. It wasn't at all half-hearted. :)

The second I see someone making an illusion that others can see and hear this is it - they are done. If I can manipulate your vision and hearing, what's stopping me from creating a bubble around you in which you can't see and hear anything? Imagine being in the middle of a fight and suddenly becoming both blind and deaf... like what are you gonna do? find me by smell?

There are so many mysteries that we'll never get to fully uncover simply because it's a whole universe of things barely intersecting with the lives of our protagonists! One detail I find so cute that's sooooo hard to see: Amity kisses Luz's cheek, and they're staring in each other's eyes in surprise. Then it cuts to Amity's face as she goes full tomato-mode. And then it cuts back to showing both of them, but if you look really closely... Luz's line of sight has moved down and lines up perfectly with Amity's lips. 😂 Hmmm, I wonder why Amity went red... 🤭🤭🤭

Unfortunate that The Galderstones Storyline got cut short due to the cancelation, but knowing how they can "Power Up" spells, I think the Hexside Squad will use it for an ultra powerful threat (The Archivists) in a future series.

84 years…but I’m still here! I feel so bad for Gus with this episode because it’s one of the few times in the series that he’s the star of the A plot, but most everybody completely forgets about it because of the ending teasing us that canon Lumity is right around the corner. You admitted that you were distracted, but I appreciate you at least tried to let him have his moment 😂 Gus becomes a much more confident character as the series goes on and this episode was a big stepping stone to helping him become the confident and self-assured king he will soon become. That being said, I agree with you about teenage romances usually being difficult to get into. They’re often so cliche with useless drama shoehorned in. Luz and Amity feel more like a couple that I would meet in real life (I know that they’re not a couple…YET). I could go on about how their relationship feels much more realistic, but I wanna save that for later episodes. Thank you for another great video and I can’t wait for the next one, even if it does take another 84 years 💜

But now that it's done, I can relax, right? No. november - season 2 of arcane, and it will definitely destroy me 😰 but then when you think they are done with me... The dragon prince season 7 is in december! The finale of the series with the theme for the season: "sacrifice" lovely... Lo que es estar ocupado, no me dejó ver el estreno, pero estoy listo. Darqui yo soy cuando vi por primera vez el capítulo Recuerdo este cap como si hubiera sido ayer, hubo una pausa en donde yo veía la serie como de medio año, sufrí por esas fechas esperando el siguiente capítulo, pero este cap fue de ayuda con ese hermoso final. Aunque aquí empezaron a quejarse muchos de que el Lumity avanzó muy rápido sin sentido cuando es obvio que Luz a pasado un tiempo siguiendo a Amity y desarrollando sentimientos por el comentario de Gus casi al inicio del cap

Amity's new hair is also less artificial a cut (not a straight line across the bottom, &c.) and not pulled back to control it. It's more natural and free. The color will be explained in a future episode, so I won't go into it.
