24:20 Mayuri's battle was in the Manga. The anime did almost a 100% accurate adaption. Only the few Hanataro scenes are missing where he is lying on the floor paralyzed by Mayuri's Zanpakuto (the 4 second scream ability). That boy is really lucky that Pernida's nerves missed him.

This episode was filled with throwbacks both subtle and overt. -Hyrenkyaku -kenpachi and mayuri have been fueding since the very first captains meeting, and that old hater energy they have between eachother carries all this time later. -Mayuri used another subordinate as a bomb like in the rescue arc. Plus extendo arm -When szyal apporro said it was impossible for mayuri to replace his organs to counter resurreccion in such a short amount of time and mayuri says "and yet here I am" with no further explanation. Well we just saw a demonstration in this episode of how he might of done that so quickly. P.s. "We dont know what it is so its best to just ignore it", kenpachi charges, "Do you have something to say nemu?" Nemu knows damn well scientist dont ignore the unknown and especially not mayuri. That was the line he used to set up kenpachi and it worked. Not only did pernidas voice change but its gaining an intelligence and personality in this episode, its kind of shocking that mayuri hasn't seemed to notice yet. No one seems to notice how pernida goes from speaking broken grammar and being almost angry he couldn't understand what mayuri was talking about, then starts sounding like he is being snarky and teasing mayuri for being embarrassed, all while his sentence structure, tonality, and annunciation are improving rapidly.

- Mayuri commenting hirenkyaku might has other name , cause most of Quincy techniques are in German . So it might has been localised by Ishida's family who stayed in Japan. -Pernida is chained maybe because it needs to be seal from progressing. But Zaraki slash up a part of the chain, thus release its middle finger and weakened the chain link.

On Pernida changing, maybe Mayuri didn't notice just because to him the change in intelligence seems negligible, he still just thinks Pernida is dumb anyway

GODS this fight matchup is honestly ONE OF THE BEST IN BLEACH Because sure all the others are BASICALLY Reiatsu VS Reiatsu.. BUT Mayuris fight is basically a Scientific Progression VS a Instinctual Progression 😂😂❤ So it all comes down to WHO progresses the most. SPOILER Its not EITHER OF THEM. Its Nemu.

It's so awesome to see that Mayuri shows a new and stronger version of he's bankai and I would love to see a rematch between of Mayuri and Uryu I know that Uryu will not face with Nemu, but will battle with Mayuri again just like in the good old Soul Society arc! One key feature about the ending being backwards is jugram being in the same spot regardless of if the ending goes forwards or backwards. Not only is there tons of new stuff in the anime but they’ve rearranged events a ton from the manga. Manga readers were expecting to get a different part this episode. And a different part next episode too. But at least this fight is in the manga. Every fight from now on should be in the manga so I hope they’re the best fights. As cool as the new fights are it would be a little insulting if the anime original stuff was better animated than the adaptation of the manga events. Either way this season in the manga was the best written part of tybw imo so you’re in for some peak. Hopefully they can turn cour 4 into the new best part with the changes they make though.

there is no way you can tell who is the villain when mayuri is in scree. he is really the batman of shinigami at this point even his bankai became a countermeasure producing device. he is the guy you hate but appreciate to be in the same team and terrified if he is in opposing team. and that fight was so disturbing in so many wrong ways. but i hate the fact that they did dirty on my man zaraki at this episode. he is kenpachi among kenpachis so the way they handled it is a little bad and not convincing or kinda downplaying him. feels like a deus ex machina tbh.
