Gay Succ Duelist here Fun fact: I somehow didn't realize what I was making until he and the chat said it, I mostly thought this was a silly synergy and that actually resolving my Royal Rare Relinquished Fusion was kinda fun, but I 100% own it now. The idea is that Tour Guide is a 1 card Verte that puts Relinquished in your hand so you can resolve Relinquished Fusion, and that also puts a Ritual in your hand so you can resolve the Libromancer effects. If I wanted to play a better version of this, I'd probably cut down on some of the Relinquished enablers (3 Tour Guide, 1 Sangan, 1 Relinquished, 1 Fusion, maybe include the Relinquished handtrap if I'm feeling spicy, then Verte and Almiraj in the extra), actually play handtraps and good Thrust targets (or just cut Thrust), but obviously for this I wanted to ensure that I drew access to both halves as consistently as possible so I can show off my cooking, which this version of the deck is surprisingly consistent at doing.

I still think this series has a problem in that the two halves of the challenge are in conflict with each other, and they both effect what kind of deck Joseph can play. If it’s just supposed to be funny haha stuff, then Joseph playing any hand traps or negates defeats the purpose as those of kind of decks aren’t exactly consistent usually in getting their funny stuff to happen through interruptions. However if people are just trying to beat Joseph they come in here with full power branded or full power superheavy and duke it out. But if Joseph has to nerf his deck to make it viable against the meme decks, then those duels just become stomps. I think Joseph has to decide which aspect of the challenge he wants to focus on, viewer duels or meme duels, and stick with it. If he wants meme duels, then he should play an appropriate deck for it. If he just wants viewer duels, then he can play meta and use handtraps. Trying to do both, just makes the series worse imo.

honestly i think the problem with this series is the funniest stuff you can do is inconsistent, which is why it works in replays. Here you can be like "I see where you are going with this" but it'll rarely work. Especially sucks when you played cards like ash designed to stop people from achieving funny. Also so people play mostly normal decks cause guess what, you can just win the game making standard boring MD games.
