As a guy who tried to climb the rank ladder all season with Weather Painters, I am fairly confident that the deck's win condition is the opponent not reading/understanding what the back row does, ram a bunch of guys into Thunder Canvas only for them to all be bounced back to the hand, and then scooping because they outed their own board.

Fissure can be swapped out by Thunder, too. Shifter atleast can act as a Small World bridge because it shares the same Def as Snow of all things. Droll also is a SW bridge (Snow Atk, Cloud Attribute, Thunder Def) but it has to go to Grave, specifically, so you'ld have to chain it anyway, meaning you didn't shotgun the shifter, potentially losing value. Also, Fissure loses to Lightning Storm and HFD like the rest of your deck instead of the ever common CbtG.

@@cerberos1 I would consider thunder dragon and floo to be the first and second best banish focused decks.(floo is the best, thunder dragon is second.) however, I personally wouldn’t consider Tri brigade to fit into the category I mentioned. One of the core things that banish focused decks should be able to do is play banish focused floodgates. However, Tri brigade loses to shifter, Dfi, macro, and whatever other banish floodgates there are. If you count Tri brigade then weather painters are fourth best, but I don’t count Tri brigade

I remember a day that I use my weather painters against a mega deck. He makes the first dragoon and don’t remember what else and activate dimensional fissure and in hand have dimension shifter just in case and kaiju his dragoon use one of the effect of one trap to bounce back the kaiju back to my hand they’re not once per turn so I tribute the next one and just don’t attack that way I take back my kaiju again and dio the same next turn and that way I out his negations and win.

Painters actually can deal with Numeron, to an extent. Rainy can chain to Numeron Network, bounce it, and cancel the activated once per turn summoning as well as waste Calls. You can also just have all of your painters chain snowy to each other to clear the field, only taking 4000 instead of lethal. Kaijus obviously can be a problem, but if you lose the coin toss and go first, you can gamble at it being Numeron, at least. Painters just have a horrid match up against Lab, and while they can do funny stuff like make Mirrorjade yeet itself, it's not that ideal a match-up either. I feel like I'm bricking more ever since the support was added, it's wierd. No longer is it "Did I open Snowy and a way to get to Snow?" it's now "Did I open a way to get to Snow, Forecast, and Snowy/Rainy/Cloud. Also, if I did, I can't use Shifter. And I'm running less backrow to increase consistency." It's weird, man, you used to barely care if you were under shifter, but when SwordSoul, Despia, and Lab don't care too much about it and you actually use the GY turn 1 for Cloud's effect, it feels kinda awful...

However her tribute effect specifically says she must have been link summoned (so if she returns from banish or gy, she can’t use that ability), and her link arrows that grant the other Weather Monsters negation can only be used in the extra monster zone (which can’t be used when SS from gy/banish)

But the disappointing thing about Rainbow is that after she is removed from board, and brought back, she’s basically just a 3 link beatstick as even her 2nd ability is null due to arrow placement. Yes there’s the option to just upgrade into “MC generic Boss”, but having a new Archtype Boss that complements her would be great (especially since the entire archetype focuses around recycling your monsters)
