Modern Equip Turbo cheese involves cards that attack directly/reflect damage and have better protection/floating shenaniagans. If you just want to brute force it you can use stuff like Assembled Nightingale or SSACE Hayate, but Mikanko also has that dumb trick they can pull with Double-Edged Sword to kind of get around starting at 0 Atk and otherwise needing damage reflection to win games.

Fail to find is perfectly legal in other card games like Pokemon under the premise that your deck is private information so you can use something like Ultra Ball to get your hand down by three (UB plus 2 cards) or use something like a Nest Ball (assuming you have a bench spot open) to get a free shuffle if you are worried about clumping.

Farfa in Game 1 after Grace you had Game with the following steps. Activating Giant Trunade - Normal Ben Kai - Equip with Axe - Equip with Mage Power - Set NoC - Set Level Limit (Ben Kai has now 3500 ATK and 3 Attacks per BP). Now Attack Sangan (3500-1000=2500 Dmg) - Attack Manju (3500-1400=2100 Dmg) - Attack Directly (3500 Dmg). In total 2500 + 2100 + 3500 = 8100 Dmg => Game Only thing it would not be game if Joseph played Waboku/Threatening Roar and chaining that on the Giant Trunade or would be searching a Kuriboh off the Sangan and that scenario was highly unlikely here. My comment is not to blame. I just noticed it.

Talking about fail to find like it’s an old archaic thing is so funny since lots of games still use it to avoid illegal activation issues. I love not getting a warning if my searcher doesn’t have targets. But it does work better in games that have costs I guess.

Most cardgames dodge the "private knowledge" issue in this way. In Yugioh there's way too many things where you just have to trust your opponent. Example: I control Light and Darkness Dragon. My opponent activates Polymerization, and LaDD negates. I just have to trust that that activation was legal. In most other cardgames the activation would always be legal and you'd resolve private information optionally
