Establishing the Department of Homeland Security. - Future Military Funding for Iraq Amendment- 2005. voted against healthcare for others- WHILE GETTING THE BEST HEALTHCARE available for himself as a senator. I'm no veteran (thank you who served where I couldn't), but I am a native Arizonan. I have voted against McCain in every Primary he was available in for this century. The only reason he got a General vote from me is that most of our options were far worse than he was (though to be fair, they were probably more honest in their positions). He was always one to "reach across the aisle" and be concerned with "getting a compromise". Since at least William Jefferson Clinton was elected president, "compromise" from a politician (especially McCain) meant, "We're going to do what the Democrats want, and they'll compromise by allowing us to have an agreement." I have gotten sick and tired of them using this definition, and this former Senator especially. It will be interesting to see who Doucey picks to replace him for the next 2 years. Does he go with Old Joe Arpaio or Dr Kelli Ward who lost the last Republican Senate Primary, or does he go with someone else?
@arizonared20006 жыл бұрын
I hear you on all ac,counts and I hope Doucey pics Ward, that would be awesome. I don't want to sound like an ageist, but Arpaio, is to old. Term limits seem to be a six one way half a dozen the other. As an Australian, I say that term limits are bunk we had the best Prime Minister of my age John Howard for many many years, while he reigned we prospered as a people, we had a great economy we were respected by allies and rivals. But now we only have 3 PMs til Chrismas, we swap them out so frequently we can no longer have who is the PM as a concussion test. Let me repeat that we have had them fallout so repeatedly we can no longer have who is the PM as a concussion test. It isn't the term limits it's the people if you could have certain people in office for 12 years your candiate of choice don't lie you would want it that way.

Funny enough I remember the crazies(SJWs)talking about term limits when Trump put Amy Coney Barret in Ruth Bader Ginsburg‘s seat when she died.

I blame the US Navy for giving us John McCain. He should have been forced out of the Navy in 1962 for putting out the lights in a large percentage of Spanish electricity by hot-dogging in an A-4.

Because Daddy Admiral would get angry if little johnny got booted out. He was almost washed out of flight school but passed because of his grandfather and father being admirals.

That's how he got shot down, too. He was in the wrong piece of sky, according to the mission he was flying. If he'd been where he was ordered to be, it's likely he wouldn't have ended up a guest of the NVA.

Thank you for having the guts to tell the truth about the man, rather than jump on the manure-spreading bandwagon. McCain basically built a career out of trying to immunize himself from criticism by one means or another. When he was in the service (before he was captured), he used his family connections (his dad was an Admiral), then during his tenure as a mediocre-to-lousy Senator, he used his experience as a POW to immunize himself from criticism; then after his cancer diagnosis, he used that to so immunize himself. Never once was his actual record ever scrutinized fairly, objectively and honestly, without at least one of those factors being taken into consideration. So it is refreshing, to say the least, to hear some plain simple truth spoken about the man for a change.

I would suggest 3 terms as a representative, 2 terms as a senator, and 2 terms as president. No more than that per person. This would result in a grand total of 26 years in office on the national scale for someone who can maintain support at home. Also, if you fail to be re-elected your terms still count towards the total.

As a guy who has spent the last twenty-five years of my voting life living in AZ and trying to get "the Maverick John McCain" the fuck out of office and failing, this video is purely cathartic. Thank you for putting my every thought and feeling about this backstabbing son of a bitch into words, Razorfist.

In my country Mcain was portrayed as a good man, one you'd remember and cry after. That was a decent wake-up slap, thanks ;)

Pretty much everywhere you go, there's a feeling of euphoria reminiscent of when tyrants like Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi died. Everywhere, that is, except the legacy media.

Despite say what you imagine about leftists, this was one of the things I insisted upon with help of a handful of folks to implement and make public for Occupy Wall Street, but of course we were the handful liberals that considered what a platform was; drowned out by morons. So even as a lefist, I can appreciate this issue deeply. Thank you.
