Billy , my Dad had a super 55 years ago when he fell for a logger or two, and he worked for some outfit that was clearing timber and brush for a power line from Utah to Idaho. When pops died, bless his soul, I loved him so much. Anyhow, my brother got a hold of the saw. I have seen it in his shop. It looks like warmed over dog poop. Has not been started for gees who knows how many years. My brother has said I can have it. OH BOY am I excited after seeing this video. I will work on it to the best of my skills, but I am sure I will need assistance. Awesome video Billy!

Looks good man! Hope everyone is doing well! Spent the day gathering some poplar firewood. Got the saw all ready to go the night before, drove out to the woodpile where it was all stacked up. Cleared away some overgrown grass. fired up the saw, let it warm up nicely, flipped on the hearing protection, and started in on my first cut, only to find a nice piece of barbed wire 2 inches into the cut, where the tree had grown around it! Thank goodness for all the time I had spent watching your filing videos, and practicing, otherwise I'd still be there! Practice makes proficiency! Have a great day everyone!

Had one sitting in the back of my workshop for close to 30 years. Missing it's left side cover, bar and chain, but everything else's here. It has a nice fat blue spark and great compression. Stopped here while searching for a carb rebuild kit and side cover. Just subbed.

Buckin, thank you for showing us the "behind the scenes" so to speak. A lot of youtubers and other social media platforms only show the end result and not the journey getting there. I love seeing this, there is no good times without hard times. When the pull cord got stuck after hours of maintenance I could feel the disappointment through the screen. Cheers from the north east.

Hi Buckin, I loved the sound of that old McCullough 55 chain saw. It is like listening to clasic music to me. Brother. I love my PM 610. It runs how ever now I need to get the oiler pump fixed. I bought the new Husqvarna 395 xp with a 36" bar and chain. The McCullough PM 610 with the 28" bar and chain was always my go to saw . She's sweet and getting old. I was so Happy today. I received two of my BuckingBillyRay Tee shirts So awesome and so cool. I wore mine when I went into the Husqvarna dealership. Hamersville Ohio Hamersville power equipment. They are a 4 3/4 star rated shop that's 1/4 below a 5 star shop. Be like going to Bear Claw. Thank you for all you do. I'm a subscriber and a believer

I love Billy at 4:00 that excitement/surprise/enthusiasm when the 840 just runs superb. I love those sounds and smells! The echo and home lite have the original bars and chains on them. $80 for all. I know they ain’t big saws but starting to get into the old ones. Got them both running. Still need some tuning, but they run. Now I need an old McCullouch!

My dad watched all the boxing matches when i was growing up. He taught me to appreciate the art of fighting (boxing). But every once in a while the guy who was losing the fight would get the decision, that would make him angry and of course i grew to see how that was possible. Getting upset after watching 10 rounds or 15 rounds of boxing is not a joyous moment. UFC was awesome when i had cable TV access. Watched all the fights, one against one. The gals now are brutal. Very athletic, very exciting. Tennis and ping pong, one against one. College wrestling, one against one. Not a team sport fan unless I'm playing.

Michael Fresh the only max I think I have is a pro Mac 55. It runs but it needs some stuff. Right now I’m working on a super pro 81 that needs a fuel line and it’s been acting up. It was sitting for 20 years and it’s running okay but the oil was just pouring out of the bar and chain part. But it’s gotten better and it seems low compression when idling but it’s not because I measured around 180psi for compression
