Light reconnaissance air pilots used to put grenades in jars and drop them on NVA positions. The jar keeping the spoon on until it hits the ground and breaks allowing the grenade to explode.

Bachmut is important not for the infrastructure (better in bombed out building then open pits) during the winter. No the reason is several major paved roads pass thru the town center making heavy equipment easier to move. Easier to supply your troops. Take a look at a map and you'll see what I mean.

Since 24th February 2022, we've seen incredible feats of targeting accuracy from the Operators of Ukrainian drones deploying a wide range of munitions! Without any type of sighting systems, the Operators have placed their munitions into open car sunroofs, open tank hatches and directly onto Russian troops wherever they may be found! The use of plastic cups to keep the grenade handle fully compressed is excellent, as separation will occur upon landing. This is really quite clever, and a marvellous use of non combat, civilian drones modified for their missions. They also provide immediate after action casualty reports on the enemy!

Bill Gates follows a form of Christianity, I'm not sure where he stands on this. Bezos wants the world to serve him, so he'd probably see eye to eye with the Russian midget. Exactly. Trench warfare in relatively flat open ground really isn't a thing by day three after SAMs are taken out, enemy air power is grounded, and the A-10s, AC-130s, and Apaches move in. The optics used by Apaches are going to let them smoke out MANPADS in a hurry. There will still be urban warfare.

We didn't find the Japanese Emperor guilty of war crimes even though he was directly responsible for the war. Why? Because the Japanese population would've fought to the death against the occupation forces. We needed the Germans/Japanese in the new fight against the USSR (cold war began).
