Truth is, we are our worst enemy and the reason we are in this rut is that we depend on incompetent and corrupt politicians that will do nothing for us. We still have a slave mentality, that's why we blame the past, instead of fixing the future. We put too much emphasis on skin colour, than looking at the actual problem and solutions. (1) whilst the genocide and Apartheid both ended in the 90s, the genocide was a singular event whilst Apartheid was a on ongoing thing that altered entire systems for decades. The Truth is, if the ANC didn't start setting blacks on fire in the 60's because their White communist masters told them to. The different tribes would have had their own nations today with their own constitutions. Your people would still have clinics and thought curated, you would have had a meaningful education which could have actually gotten you a job. You would still have had an Income higher than the UN average for the rest of the continent and you would have basically been assured a job to provide for your family. We seriously need change. I was born in the 60s, and what I can say as a coloured we had our ups and downs, but I got a job in the bank with a grade 7 schooling. My boss was a white afrikaner and a heart of gold. Today you can't even get a job with a bachelor's degree unless you can steal foe the ANC I vote Gayton Mckenzie, and so is all my family.

I would want a president like this in and give him only 5 years to show everyone, how he would be able to turn South Africa around. 30 years of corruption by the ANC can be depleted in no time if the right leaders are in place. Finally there is hope at the end of the tunnel. The most important thing about your speech Mr Mckenzie is that you give South African people a reason to believe once again in their leaders. We need more people to give people a wake up call!! My child was also a victim of "regstellende aksie! Never got chosen for a cricket team. He had nothing to do with apartheid. He got a degree but struggled to get a job, because of the colour of his white skin! He studied further, build himself up and now he got a good job! The solution.is not blame others, but to take action and build yourself up..Today after many years of struggles, he finally got a job at a good company!

Gaton is right in most of what he says, but until we can look at each other as South Africans and not classify each other none of this can work. Our biggest success was when God was at the forefront, but the ANC thought it wise to remove Him from everywhere. God is the only way, put him first again, and everything else will fall into place.
