Bernie tried to just up their pay but the union said no- since the union would be responsible for a greater percentage of the worker's platinum level healthcare. So Bernie suggested an hour cap and the union agreed. Now his workers aren't permitted above 42 hours. Oh, and this problem as solved within a few weeks. He told people who were BORN IN AMERICA to go back to their own countries. I'll repeat. He told *natural born american citizens* to go back to their country. People who are indisputably American, by every possible definition. This requires several logical assumptions on his own part. Obviously, it requires the him to assume, without knowing the facts, that these people were not born in America. That's the first, the baseline. It's absolutely impossible for the line of thought to begin *anywhere* else. And, pray tell... what would draw him toward that conclusion? By the nature of the issue, the only possible answer is the bias of his own pre-conceived notion of what the word "American" means. In other words, a prejudice against specific type of people, in his own mind, prevents them from being considered American, by his definition. What type of people, that's up for debate. But it's indisputable that there is a type of people that Donald Trump is prejudiced against, to the point that he is not able to consider them American in any way, shape, or form. He might not be racist, you're right. But, if he's not... then that prejudice still has to be against some other group of people. It doesn't magically disappear if race isn't the reason. Is it because they're women? That's certainly not better, more than half of all Americans are women. If he doesn't consider half the country to be people, that's a huge problem. Is it because of their political beliefs? Probably, but that makes it even worse. Because it very directly tells you that anybody who doesn't agree with him, in his eyes, are not people. That's antithetical to the concept of America.

seigeengine I see it spread throughout the entire battle. However, I do agree with the stupidity of the masses and that thought line is also spread throughout the battle (as in making statements people will believe). It’s strange how one sides digs are almost strictly opinion based insults while the others are factual based insults that are overlooked or justified by fools/ignorant sheep. I retired from the Air Force in 2014 and I was stationed at Joint Base Andrews (called Andrews AFB back then) for a decade. It is known as the home of Air Force One. I had a friend who was a Raven and I learned a lot about that horrible and hateful monster that ended up losing the election...and the battle in my opinion. Facts always beat feelings and the loss of my brothers in arms will always make me look at the highest office in a different light. At least I can always laugh at how many who really supported a movement that has been huge recently also supported someone who didn’t support them. You know, didn’t believe women, called them liars, and then stood up for a sexual predator. Seriously, what is funnier than that?

Hell, look at what Whoopi just did. She may not like certain people, but she refuses using terror to dominate.

seigeengine Comedian Dave Chappelle. His new Netflix special “Sticks and Stones.” If you haven’t watched it I’d suggest giving it a watch. It is hilarious and the great equalizer that comedy holds is sorely needed. Everybody gets shit on making all equal. It addresses many issues. There is no pussyfooting, just using my words to make one think rather than trying to form another’s thoughts. If you can’t see what his special stands against the issue is elsewhere. In addition to that, I think my thoughts are easily seen and what may look like pussyfooting is me spelling things out rather than being blunt. Just like what was done in the reaction to this battle, his thoughts weren’t specifically said.

To me it's funny frog meme and milk 👌) I'm defintely a conservative, but if a left leaning person comes up with good arguments then that's great. Let's debate. But I think everyone enjoys poking fun at the true crazies every now and then. Their political leanings are quite obvious in this, but I'd actually argue Trump won this battle. I really liked Hillary's "First name is Hillary, middle name Rodham, last name is Clinton and lyrics, I got 'em" line and it is one of my favourite from the series, but Trump just nailed it with the Emails line right out the gate. Note: I have not said anything offensive, I have not implied anything offensive, nothing I've said is to spark outrage or hatred, in this post. It is just my political view point and personal beliefs, and also my opinion on the funny rap battle. If you wish to talk, then talk, nobody has time for vileness.
@seigeengine5 жыл бұрын
Trump has been a racist the entire time. "the most culturally progressive presidents" lol, fucking how? Pepe was never called racist. He was listed as a symbol used by some people to communicate hate on a list of things that are used to communicate hate. Just like KKK hoods aren't inherently a hate symbol (they're an adoption of a religious garb) or the swastika isn't (has been widely used across the world to this day to signify other things), that doesn't mean they aren't used as hate symbols. The purpose of the list, whether you think it's good or bad, isn't to say that X is a hate symbol, but rather to say that X is used as a hate symbol. I don't appreciate when scumbags slip a nonsense statement into a series of agreeable statements to try to manipulate their audience. Don't do it. See, that's one of the things that actually made me realize how legitimately moronic the American right is: how heavily they focused on the email scandal, which ultimately was a less than damning criticism. There were a ton of legitimate things to criticize Hillary over, and what did I get at least 9 times out of 10? "HURREMAILSLOKURUP!" It was a slogan more than anything. A load of nonsense for hordes of droolies to chant and feel validated. Note: I have not murder six people. I have not implied that I might have committed murder, nothing I've said is meant to imply to you that I have committed murder. I am just communicated that I did not commit the murder of six people. If you wish to talk, talk, then talk; nobody has time for accusations that I have committed murder.

@matthewbibby89215 жыл бұрын
.... Somewhere else in the US where they aren't racist I guess? It's a tough issue isn't it, I won't say I understand your specific circumstances as a white person though I have seen/ heard some shocking things and know it sucks to be judged for something purely on your skin color. I think the ultimate way to combat racism is to, as a black person, not be intimidated by it and to do your best to treat even the worst people you come across with respect, I firmly believe racism lies in ignorance and that by being exposed to other races, racist people would lose the ignorance that causes that rift. I've seen plenty of videos as well of people (such as Daryl Davis and Christian Picciolini who have done TED talks on the subject) that confirm this for me... But I mean... That's kinda an unfair responsibility to put on someone who just wants to live their life, which is... Probably the most unfair thing I can think of. The other options would be to simply move to a black neighbourhood (I would say segregation would be exactly unhelpful to the problem tho) or to simply move out of a small neighbourhood (if that's where you are) where racism easily spreads and takes root, to somewhere like a city or large town that isn't isolated, so while you may find racist people still you're more likely to find people who aren't racist and are more concerned with living their lives like anyone else. Though moving purely to avoid racism is also a bummer so it's not like this is a great option either. Out of the country options... I guess Sweden is supposed to be the most PC country around? Idk, while there's plenty of diversity here in the UK I think it faces a bunch of the same problems as the US does in this case... .... I guess... The best you can do is find your own part in whatever community you're in, find friends and people you care about who will care about you, then... Fuck whoever doesn't like that, you don't have to deal with them, just the people around you, right? Idk man, stay strong, hopefully humans will at least figure this problem out at some point... We've at least come a while already.

He arrived 2 or 3 weeks after it happened to San Juan the tourist location and never left it and said Puerto Rico was fine and we exaggerated about the conditions. To make my point obvious San Juan being tourist local next to airport would obviously take priority for the sake of those stuck here visiting or etc, but the rest of the island was fubar my own home was covered in trees that need to be hand chopped for a week just to open a path. My point is he had no love for us no matter what he said after to earn brownie points. But clearly when shit happens to Americans near him he cares.

It was his wife, what they didn't say is that people write these speeches for the presidents for money. Whoever this was, they were just lazy and stole from another speech. A good example is the wall speech from Ronald Regan was not written by Regan. As for politics, this video was fucking hilarious. It doesn't matter what your politics are, people need to learn that everyone has different politics and it doesn't make them a bad person for having different beliefs.
@seigeengine5 жыл бұрын
Cool, so why did I never hear a "Oh, sorry, the person who wrote this speech for me was a plagiarizing fraud. My bad." coming from them? I mean, they should probably be writing their own speeches in the first place, but that's a whole other issue. No, but it CAN make you a bad person to have different beliefs. For example, "it's okay to keep children in cages," or "it's okay to kidnap and traffick children" are both beliefs that make you a bad person. I wrote an example belief that wasn't very topically related at first, but I figured I'd be less generic. Anyways, yes, this video was entertaining.

Also, instead of questioning the efficiency of Trump’s policies, Democrats question the morality of them and turn every issue into an issue of good vs evil rather than helpful vs unhelpful. The citizenry is sick of these underhanded tactics and will elect Trump to office in 2020 once more.

@@nicolasleroux5302 the problem you're running into here is that I'm not a Democrat. He wants a border wall which will not help because 1) the vast majority of illegal immigrants overstay visas they dont literally illegally cross the border and 2) virtually every economist in the world agrees that immigration in the context of the U.S is a net positive. So hes proposing an ineffective answer to a problem that doesnt exist. His tax plan benefit the wealthy the most as if they dont have enough wealth and power as it is and he has failed to deliver on any of the things he promised while running. Which is good for me. Even by your own standards hes been ineffective. He hasn't even been able to repeal Obamacare and that was one of his main campaign issues. I could sit here and explain to you how his policies fuck regular people but I've learned my lesson about trying to convince conservatives that trump is an idiot. AbsolutexxZero I made the mistake of assuming you were a Democrat, but you just made the mistake of assuming that I’m a Conservative. Furthermore, I’m not a Trump voter- my entire point earlier was that the media and the Left spend 90% of their time clutching their pearls rather than destroying Trump’s policies. This is why I think Trump will win- because the American people are sick of hearing morally sensationalist claims like “border walls are racist”, “ICE agents are the Gestapo”, and “the NRA is a terrorist group” 24/7. It’s such an atrocious strategy.

@@nicolasleroux5302 well you came off as defending his racism. Let the Democrats focus on his racism. @seigeengine5 жыл бұрын
Eh, I have no idea. The concept of "meeting" people has always seemed to be overly loosely used to me anyway. People would use it, for example, for shaking someone's hand one time in such a context, whereas I would never use the word unless there was some meaningful exchange... like having an actual conversation with the person. Whether or not she did doesn't have any real significance to me in the first place, so I see no reason to get hung up on it. Different people mean different things when they use words. Clearly my connotation of "meeting" someone is different from other people's, yet I wouldn't claim their claim to having met someone was invalid just because it doesn't satisfy my connotative interpretation. At one point that was claimed, but whether she deliberately lied about it or not is not apparent. People can be wrong. People will believe things without evidence. Apparently the official narrative is that it was a story told her as a child by her mother. Whether that's true.... who cares? Again, this is a claim that means nothing. I have almost no threshold to accepting it for the simple reason that whether or not I accept it doesn't change anything, in the same way having met MLK does not make you a good person, who you're named after doesn't mean a whole lot about who you are as a person either. That you get caught up on inconsequential minutiae says a lot about your views imo.

While giving a radio interview about it in 1980, when she talked about how she used insane logic to trick the jury into thinking the police had destroyed evidence _by testing it with standard procedures_ and won the case, she laughed. During the Watergate investigation, Jerry Zeifman fired her for being "the most dishonest person he'd ever met." There is evidence, currently still being investigated, that she visited Epstein's private island 6 times. She is a monster, Trump is not, in any way. The world owes him a debt.

In 1975 Hillary did her job as a lawyer effectively. In 1980 she gave a radio interview where she laughed about several things, including how destruction of evidence benefited her case. She also, in that same interview, laughs about losing faith in polygraph tests after the defendant passed one. Humans laugh for a variety of reasons. You are trying to make a character attack against her by implying her laughing at something means something very specific and negative, when it blatantly does not to any reasonable human being. I don't care about what some guy named Jerry allegedly said about anyone. I can find no mention of any such "evidence." What I can find is evidence that Trump at the least had a strong and continuous relationship with Epstein for a while, which makes your final statement extra hilarious.

Being that guy's legal counsel isn't the problem, her laughing about it is. It's not what she did, it's her attitude about it. She is a monster, plain and simple.
