CLIP DESCRIPTION:
After a mother takes advantage of Charlie (Jim Carrey), the evil Hank appears.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Six years after Dumb and Dumber, Jim Carrey reunited with Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly for this anarchic comedy with a hint of romance. Charlie (Carrey) is a good-natured Rhode Island state trooper who likes helping people. But years of internalizing his frustrations about his work and his family have caused Charlie to develop an alter ego: Hank, an abusive, violent, sexually compulsive police officer. Charlie can keep Hank at bay with medication, but just barely. When Irene (Renee Zellweger) finds herself in legal trouble through a series of misunderstandings involving her ex-boyfriend, Charlie must escort her on a long drive to New York for questioning. After Charlie loses his medication, he and Hank wind up vying for her affections: Charlie wants Irene to marry him, while Hank has more brutal intentions. Me, Myself, and Irene also features Chris Cooper, Robert Forster, and Jessica Harper, as well as Anthony Anderson, Mongo Brownlee, and Jerod Mixon as Charlie's rotund, African-American sons.

Notice how they changed camera angle during his transformation. When it's Charlie the camera is at high angle but when he transforms into Hank they went down slowly and closer to him, making him look visually bigger, hence to show a difference between two personalities. Cameraman knew his damn job. Perfect work.

In film, generally speaking, high camera angles are used to show the character is weak and submissive. When the camera angle is low pointing up on a character, it shows the character being strong and powerful.

@@krisscanlon4051 Nice guy = men from 200 years ago. Men almost have to be psychopaths to attract women these days. There's a reason why women like prison inmates. The Nightstalker got married to one of the jurors who found him guilty. There were actual fights between multiple women at the visitor center over the Nightstalker's affections. I doubt women were doing that 200 years ago over a serial killer. Back then a person would go to prison for distributing "Lucifer the Light Bearer" literature. Men would get booted from their social circle if they spoke about wanting to divorce their spouse. Society didn't play around.

Very over looked thing that you brought up. I dated a girl from the Philippines, and she told me that many people there say their threats quietly. "Do you want to get stabbed tonight? I think you should calm down.". If you didn't chill out, the quiet dude didn't threaten again, he just stuck you, for real, in the bar. To me, that's MUCH more scary than the big yelling angry dude.

Know what I'm saying?!" and gave me a very intimidating look. Dude wasn't her hubby because I have met him and he's a nice guy but this dude threatened to harm me and I nearly snapped. Milo Septett It's called MK Ultra. Most celebrities have gone through it. It's basically getting tortured to create split personalities with one of the purpose being that each personality dies not know what the other personality knows.
