Finally. My hair is at the very bottom of my back and I'm sick of looking at "long hair man bun" videos with guys that have shoulder length hair. Appreciate the technique! The fiancé can do it for me, but I'm trying to figure out how to handle this beast on my own.

Dont ever cut your hair. Its gorgeous. My husband has hair to the bottom of his back. Same color as yours and its gorgeous. Hair is very spiritual. It makes us more intuitive. Take care.

" Hair is very spiritual. It makes us more intuitive" Yeah, that's total and utter nonsense, but hair can look quite cool indeed.

Darth Gabriel Are you serious? Some magical 6th sense of any kind - any kind at all - has never been proven. You don't get psychic powers from long hair. If you did, you'd be able to scientifically prove it. Guess what? Not possible, because it doesn't do jack. Hair is nothing but keratin. It's not some lighting rod to the spiritual realm. Not to be a dick, but grow the fuck up.

Darth Gabriel "I have no arguments, so I'll act passive aggressively as if that makes me right". Sure thing, buddy, sure.
@AsifIcarebear39 жыл бұрын
Darth Gabriel I'm not the one claiming that unprovable bullshit is true. It's specifically because I know I'm not wise that I am sceptical of what people tell me. Seeing as how any psychic powers of _any kind whatsoever_ has never, ever, *ever* been proven in the slightest, I sincerely doubt this is any different. But, seeing as how I may well be wrong, I invite you to test it out scientifically and hand your paper in for review. If I'm wrong, prove it. Show me. Once you do that, I'll be all ears and eyes. My mind will change the instant you scientifically and incontrovertibly prove that long hair gives you psychic powers. Maybe you should stop being so arrogant that you think you're never wrong. Be critical about your beliefs and opinions.
@AsifIcarebear39 жыл бұрын
Darth Gabriel That "experiment" was made up, bro. It wasn't peer-reviewed. They did this with like 2 people. That's nowhere near enough. Maybe the guy was feeling sad because he lost his hair and so his reflexes/senses were a bit down. That's not the hair's fault. Maybe someone who hates having long hair would slow _him_ down, and he'd be better with short hair. This "study" is useless. It's toilet paper. If it was ever so obvious that long hair gives you a 6th sense type deal, why hasn't it been proven to be so, with real studies? If it's so obvious, why aren't women _vastly_ smarter/more prophetic than men? They aren't. Don't believe anything you read.

Yeah, longhairs unite! I've bounced between short and long hair most my life until the last few years I've stopped cutting it and am to the middle of my back now, cutting it feels like neutering your primal side. My goal was to get it long enough I could maintain it with a sword!

One of my male friends is letting his hair grow. He is in the awkward stage right now but he is learning how to use head bands and pony tail holders to keep the hair off his face. I love long hair on men. Thanks for the video.
@Pirustae13 жыл бұрын
@Sampsoneh thanks for the answer. ah yeah a last question: I think I'm still in the awkward phase, so my back hair are longer than my sides(which still haven't reached my shoulders and are just a bit longer than my chin for circa 4cm), but the back hair is my main problem, they look like wild plastic tentacles especially the last 6 centimeters of them. Is this a part of the awkward stage or there's something wrong?
@Pirustae13 жыл бұрын
@Sampsoneh yeah that's right. thanks. ah yeah. How do you manage to eliminate the tangles? And another question: How to keep the hear neat and folded when the hair is dried after showering. Cuz mine use to become as big burrow head?

@plus2289 I use a wire bristle brush, some say a wide tooth comb is better, i disagree but to each their own. I try to only brush it once or two days a week, when I wash it, with conditioner in it, and first in the shower to detangle and then after I towel dry it.

pantine pro v. I like the "mosture renewal" or "for dry or damaged" not because my hair is particularlly dry, but becasue they are the sliperyest or must lubricating. I detangle and brush my hair in the shower with conditioner in it to detangle it without it breaking.

How long would it take to grow your hair to the length where you can put it in a bun. Say from a buzz cut. 1-2 years?
@Sampsoneh13 жыл бұрын
@FixxxeR208 you cant eliminate tangles, they are going to happen. what you need to do is reduce them by keeping your hair in a braid, or a bun. and to detangle them as gently as posable to avoid breaking/damange. I usualy ony detangle it in the shower with conditioner in the hair. this lubricates it so the brush doesnt snag on tangles. as for drying it, I use a towel and wrapt it up and braid it while it is still wet. other wize I let it air dry down and put it in a bun like in this vid.

Btw, I've always wondered how women (since they are usually the ones that do buns) do these; now I know! I've actually seen some longhaired men in buns, and it looks pretty good! :)

@fastjunkie831 the trick is ti twist it as tightlly as you can (without breaking it obviouslly) and it will start to wrap around itself almoston its own.
@Alejandrojzr712 жыл бұрын
@Sampsoneh ok just question if i have short my hair how many time how to wait for have my hair to back
@Sampsoneh12 жыл бұрын
@scoobygdoo I wrap the last bit around the base of the bun, infact all of it I try to wrap as tightlly to the back of my head as posable., not really tucking it into the but but hopefully you know what i mean, the nI put the rubber band around hte base, securing the end of the hair there. when I get it cut (ever 3-4 years) the ends are all even and its thicker to the end, much harder to make a bun stick that way.

@The5thSnow11 жыл бұрын
I have a stupid question for ya, man. So, you make the bun and half way into it, you double back and then place the band at the base of the bun. Am I right or totally wrong? I have long hair and Im getting bored with just doing a ponytail and its too long to do the samurai topknot anymore.

@Sampsoneh YOU GO!! your hair is AWEOME!!
@Sampsoneh13 жыл бұрын
@FixxxeR208 I'm sory, I dont understand the question. Are you asking how i got it so thinck and healthy? the naser is to grow it 6-12 inches longer than your goal lenth, then cut it to that lenth where the hair is healthy.
@Sampsoneh13 жыл бұрын
@Prancingwolf7 well I started growing my hair out at age 11, i'm now 30. so a little over 18 years. I let it grow for several years (2-4) at a time and then ocasionaly when I break down or somone pressures me I will get it trimmed. anywhere from 6-18 inches at a time. Had I never cut it, it would be considerablly longer, but also more uneven and damaged. It first reached this lenth (knee lenth) 3 years ago, before I cut 18 inches (cut it to my waste line) so it took 14-15 years.

That's an impressive mane you have there. I've been growing mine out for almost a decade and it only reaches the small of my back. How much time did it take to get it that long and what are your opinions on adding facial hair to the mix?

I use a jamacan or rasta style hat, its got a tag that says "needls" ive had half a dozen of these over the last 10 years, all made by the same company and purchased at vairous head shops or shops that cater to those with "locs" I wrap it in a bun, no need for a hair tie and stuff it in the hat. i prefer the ones with brims but a tam would maybe be more comfortable for sleeping. the braid keeps it mostlly out of my way, but still shows off the lenth, its a good way to sleep with it.
