I first tested the woofer on an Audiocontrol 5 channel amp on it's 500 watt sub output. It was already very loud and the sub wasn't even moving yet. The 1500 made a BIG difference. The 3000 was even LOUDER! Even if it don't look like it's moving as much as a typical 10" or 12", that is because the cone is just so enormous. It's moving pretty good and making a TON of bass :D These subs will be getting an Audiocontrol RS1000 on each one and if it isn't loud enough for my home theater, i MIGHT find a way to put two of those on each sub for a total of 4. We will see. I probably will never turn it up as loud as i did today at the house. I might break something, especially with 2. Next, i bring this home to see how it sounds in my home sound system. Thanks for watching if you did! Follow me on instagram for more every day updates and several useless small photo's of whatever i feel like posting instagram.com/meade916

@@RJSDZNS what what they do is sometimes they'll put like four of those in a van and then basically make it armored or they fill it with concrete so it doesn't explode and then they have you sit in the van with headgear on that you use at the shooting range or earplugs in the base hit so hard that if you have long hair it will stick completely straight out even if your hair is 3 ft long look up the videos they do it all the time and bass competitions in Miami and stuff like that in here in Florida. This ain't the only place they do it but you get what I'm saying also that ain't the only sub sometimes it will be like 20 15's just crazy stuff.

@volleyballjerry
@volleyballjerry Жыл бұрын
The one thing many here may not understand is that the sonic efficiency of most subwoofers goes up with size. I will not get into the physics of why this is but an 18" cone or larger even if not visibly moving (with the human eye) is still moving so much more air that it will be plenty loud anyway. Which means at less than one meter away you can easily get 100db or more at just *one* *watt* . The B2 X2SIX 33" sub has an amazing sensitivity of 103 db at just *4* watts (not 3100) measured at 1 meter. Plus Steve put these in a ported enclosure which will add a few more dB at a given power input and frequency. The RMS power handling of just *one* of these monsters is 6,000 watts. There is no vehicle I know of that could carry more than two of these and that is if they are lying flat pointed up. Thank you SMD, Gately, and of course B2Audio!

Chin up, Michael!!!! Unless you live in the middle of nowhere with a huge 1,000 square foot living room or home theatre, even a single 15-inch sub will probably be enough to shake the windows and piss off your neighbors. I built a pair of custom full range speakers each with two 8" Kicker subs back in 1995 and that is what I would take to weddings and such when I used to DJ. With a relatively inexpensive 400-watt DJ mixer it was *still* more than enough to fill up a function hall at any church with all the sound anyone could want. But before I moved out to my place on 6.6 acres, I had to keep the noise down since neighbors have this thing about hearing lightning and thunder on a clear night..... :)
