@@Asphodel123456 I believe the crux of the matter is more about the density of air in relation to water, than buoyancy. But I'm not a physicist so maybe someone else will see fit to step in and provide a more thorough explanation.

It’s obscenely sweet, but back home I used to indulge in coke + sweetened condensed milk. Poured over ice to soften the sugar blow, it’s float’s weird tasty cousin.

Pilk has been around for decades. While growing up the neighbor drank it while he worked on his hot rod in the garage in the evening. His was the only drink the kids wouldn't steal sips from, since no one wanted to try it. Never did....that was 40 years ago. I need to try it, might have been missing out on something for 40 years =)

@@loungingcat I'm doubtful of the Pepsi float, though. I've never been a fan, so I don't think the addition of ice cream would make it any better.

I grew up in Michigan drinking Vernon's ginger ale with milk. Good stuff. But you gotta like milk a whole lot to enjoy it in soda. If you hate milk, adding it to a soft drink will just make both worse.
@Taricus2 жыл бұрын
I used to live in Michigan and then moved down south as a teenager... It's harder to find Vernor's down here. You have to go to liquor stores or go to the drink mixes in a grocery store... There'll be like two 12-packs next to the bloody mary mix LOL! You can find Canada Dry anywhere though.... They don't know what they're missing out on LOL!

My local Publix carries Vernor Ginger Ale (outside of Tampa,Florida) in 2 quart/liter bottles. Didn't know that it comes from Michigan but, since many people move to the west coast from places like Ohio and Michigan, it makes sense for the local store to have it in stock.

I had a colleague who liked to drink coke mixed with orange juice. Wasn't bad, but insenly sweet. Context: here in germany, "cola mix" or "Spezi", coke mixed with orange lemonade is very common. But by far not as sweet as using juice.

As an artist, I can get behind that painting by the chimp. It's actually really good. It's got composition with the centering of the panel of colour-blocking and good colour choice. Now, I don't know if the chimp themselves chose those particular colours, but they were the one who applied them in that particular order and arrangement, and it *works.* It's an attractive tone-poem. I'm impressed, and I'd buy that painting if I'd had the money.👍🎨
