WHAT? WHY was he a “POS propagandist” who made “fun lyrics with bad messages”? What profanes was in this song. It’s an authentic representation of being a teenager in a car - most of us have memories like THAT. And the moral here, really, is that caving into to a lifetime commitment because of silly teenage sex can really screw your life - the characters both remember the sex fondly at the end, both are keeping their marriage vows…and hate each others guts. How’s THAT “propaganda”? Seems pretty much spot on.

This song was off Meat Loaf's album Bat Out of Hell, it's considered his debut album but it was his 4th released album, but first solo one. It was written by Jim Steinman, who would write most of Meat Loaf's best songs. Both met when Meat Loaf was in Steinman's musical More Than You Deserve, that's why it's so Theatrical because both came from stage plays and musicals. The singer on the album with Meat Loaf is Ellen Foley, but in the video it's Karla DeVito. Karla would return in Jim Steinman's solo album as well as later Meat Loaf albums (same as Ellen Foley). Meat Loaf first album was as part of Popcorn Blizzard, he then did a duet album called Stoney and Meat Loaf, then Ted Nugent's Free for All before coming here. Each album had a different sound. Love the look on peoples' faces when they realize what this song is all about. LOL With Meat Loaf's theatrical background, he gave 110+% in his performances, especially his stage presence. As others have said, the woman in the video is Karla Devito, who is lip-syncing to the voice of Ellen Foley. Ellen was busy on Broadway and wasn't too thrilled to do a video like this, so Karla stepped in and was the one that did go on tour which she did actually sing. Phil Rizzuto was an actual sports caster and did the baseball exert, but at first denied doing it because he felt like he had an image to maintain, but later admitted to doing it.

It was a trash reaction for a legendary performance. What, did you want her to talk more through this???

Ok, yes I'm going to ramble( couple of glasses of Sazerac rye). They're are few albums that are truly great...every song... from beginning to end. This is one of those few. It also features one of the the best rock ballads ever recorded.

You must be cray cray if you think she made a great reaction video!!! Did you want her to talk more????

@goodcitizendude9597 If her reactions bother you so much, you should just unsubscribe and search for video watchers instead.., now that’s entertaining. 🙄

@@elarsh24 First time for me and won't subscribe assuming they're all this bad. Those algorithms send new music reactors some good, bad, great and never again!

I love your reactions (contrary to the many losers who complained that you talked too much!) They seem not to realize that most people watches reaction videos to see the viewer react. I watched your reaction to this video twice. 👏👏

The girl in white, Karla DeVito, isn't the girl you are hearing. Ellen Foley's album vocals were synced to the video. Karla is a great singer, but Ellen's vocals were just spectacular. Meat Loaf was a heldentenor and was offered a lot of money to sing opera, but as you can see, he went a different direction. He always considered himself and actor that sometimes portrayed a singer. Karla has been married to actor Robbie Benson since the 1980s. Ellen Foley was Billie on the original Night Court TV show. RIP Marvin "Meat Loaf" Aday.
