have to admit I was kinda rusty during this whole gameplay, but yeah, games and especially First Person Shooters have been part of my life since I was a small kiddie :P

Something's not right with this... Is the PC version easier? You're just walking into multiple storm elites and killing them with a machinegun and they're not fragging you, you don't even seem to be taking much damage. I'm not saying you're cheating but i can't believe you could do that on the xbox version. You'd be toast.

+VideogameGuitarist Headshots kind of stun them for miliseconds and proper abuse of cover/peek system allows you to dish damage without them being able to actually "see"/shoot you back. That said, they did shoot me back everytime they could, easy to see that around 27:30 which is where you seem to be basing your assumption from, that area filled with Storms. I get the feeling that since it's both harder to land consistent headshots and abuse the cover/peek system properly with a controller that may be the sole reason why you have a tendency to be shot back more often and have a harder time with them. PC version is no different from Console in regards to raw difficulty

never played Xbox... but in my personal experience... if you shoot them with a whole round of machineguns (doesn't matter which one) you can kill them easily even if you are almost next to them

It is just easier to aim when you play any 1st person shooter on PC, it's quite harder when you use controller.

They are Vulnerable alone. My StG 44 and MP40 stunned them. Shotgun is a good alternative

It Took me bloody ages to get past the 1st Gunner hidden behind a box getting killed at least 15 times running for the concrete piller then finding I was all alone as my men were further up the factory waiting for me.First time I tried this I had no Mega-grenades so I gave up and made certain next time I played it I had plenty of Grenades to help me out which you would never do without them...I will continue to play the game until all my Rifles have been upgraded.On my 2nd Tour now.....About to start the last mission which I played earlier on easy because of the Mega-Gunners...Now on Expert.

Raymond Nurden Best weapon overall is the STG44, upgrade that and you won't need to worry that much about gunners (as long as you don't play like a suicidal maniac). Low recoil and high damage go well for headshot spam on those gunners. Gamon grenades do help out a lot but they are not the only way to beat gunners

Christian Bethel Pretty much, recoil is the biggest problem on that gun, followed by the low capacity magazine combined with the rate of fire the gun has... you will spend more time reloading than shooting

Normally I play bottom up. Because if I destroy the guns first, I would start asking myself what's the point of taking out the elevators or the halftracks. Also starting bottom up has a generous supply of Panzerschrecks. I use that and Gammons to blow up the guns from a safe distance and get a shitload of 5-kills.

But then the question becomes why use airborne troops if you are going to make a ground assault through the front entrance that is suposelly heavily fortified. The point would be to deny any recapturing attempt should the air assault fail I guess. Though that mission makes very little sense anyway, if the airborne don't succeed they become trapped on the upper floors until help arrives... it's borderline suicidal and poor planning. If you start from the top you can climb on top of the circular walls surrounding every flak and shoot/grenade the guys below with impunity. Two different methods, both sound reasonable. Realistically speaking ideally you always want to engage from a height advantage point so you only show your head when you spot something and present the smallest body profile to trade shots with but alas it's a videogame and this is AI, not real players, so whatever works works.

in pc with what button you can remove upgrades like the scope on stg44 i can not aim with that damm scope

I don't exactly remember but I think it was "Middle Mouse Button"? Checked the forums and there's some people saying it is "H"... Anyways you can set that in the options menu - Fire Controls - Alternate Fire. And yea I too heavily disliked that scope

As the guy below said (videogameguitarist) this must be easier on PC? I'm playing through on Xbox One (BC) and its like half the amount of enemies... plus like 3 shots and dead? at one point like 3 or 4 guys just run past you?

Jay Clayton that makes me think that, since you both claim it seems easier on pc, they reduced the ammount of enemies on the console version and upped their lethality to compensate for it. Seems logical to me

Jay Clayton hmm, I would assume lower number due to specs being more limited than a computer, but if it's the opposite.... I dunno, I'd like to think maybe it's because I'm killing stuff so fast that it ends up seeming like I don't face many at once, since they don't just pile up that way. On the lethality part maybe it's because it is easier to control movement in fast responses on a keyboard so taking hits isn't as common. I really dont know, wish I could prove that I am not lying about the difficulty setting I chose back then. This issue seems interesting to me though

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Intel Core I7 K875 @ 2.93GHz Quad Core Nvidia GTX 590 SLI 8GB RAM DDR3 I currently play most games on max settings at 1920x1080 resolution. For this gameplay, I had to record at half the resolution I was playing because of the stressing, but I found out a good programme that now allows me to record at full 1080p with no hardware stress whatsoever. So if you notice the vídeos being a bit blurry, its just because of the recording at half 1080p :) Keep in mind I only use 1 hard drive of roughly 500/600 GB for all my computer stuff. That includes games, recordings, renders, applications of all sorts, internet stuff and downloads.
