Dr. Claudia Paganini is an assistant professor at the Department of Christian Philosophy of the University of Innsbruck. She studied studied philosophy and theology at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna. For her habilitation thesis on media ethics she was awarded the Father Johannes Schasching SJ Prize in 2018. Dr. Paganini’s research focuses on media, medical, animal, and environmental ethics. She is the organizer of the Austrian-Canadian Ethics Workshop, which takes place annually at the University of Innsbruck, and is a member of various ethics committees.
The seven-part lecture series "Showcasing Young Austrian Scholars and Scientists" features a line-up of young Austria-based scholars and scientists who weigh in on a variety of subjects including political science and law, artificial intelligence, literature, philosophy and sustainable mountain development.
