most of your gold comes from normal materials not rare materials. So although I agree maxing out bismith is a good idea, it doesnt increase your gold as much as getting +skill, and maxing out finese imo. I havent done the numbers (i think noone has yet), but i think maxing out the first main tree (plethora of ore, and bountiful harvest), I think your next best bet is too max out bismith, and myco bloom because its the most common of its type. Then Id personally max out the inital overload tree because each point gives +skill

The EZ nodes you mine faster the closer you are to the node. I like to wait for the first blurt of dynamites and then just hug it close and mine it before any more spawns. Much better than standing at max range to try and be safe, but have a super long gather time and be frustrated when you sometimes have to move.

small tip as a druid, the webbed nodes shapeshift stops the slow and you can just fly of at full speed

I did a pacifist priest pandaren during MoP, and got him to max level doing only gathering. I actually make all new characters gatherers to level them faster, you can change profession at max lvl if you choose.

The golem is compatible with mining while mounted skill. The druid form is not as far as i can tell. So dont level mount mining only unless you have golem.

yea am glad i checked this since everyone told m to do the "mining while mounted" and as a druid it did not make sense to me, so i am gonna start with the left tree. i still dont' know though would you maximumize all 3 ore types for nullstones or what ?

Deftness is still usefull; it'll certainly add up over time. Several profession tools are not customizable at all and have the profession stats fixed.

Does the fishes that you cast into the water (that applies perception for ex) count towards herb/mining aswell? Cause you could pretty effectivly stack that buff for 30 mins which is as long as the phial for the camo-nodes. Edit: Nvm max buff is 5 min for 45 perception.

i have 2 druids now, made one in panda time to pick up herb and mining my main druid is herb and alch Would receomend people make a second druid for farming, Zandar troll is good for the move speed buff

Yup, my Druid is my second 80, all the way from 70-80 gathering. I also went 1-70 in Pandaria so I don't even know how to play the class at all lol

You can get a green sky golem if you got 400 toys as well if you are near that over getting the sky golem

Mechanized Lumber Extractor I believe it's called. I have both but use that one because I got bored of the sky golem. I know it's just a recolor but it helped the boredom a bit 😂

Leveling as a gatherer was viable in DF too. And I also did 3 levels in TWW by gathering. It is not a meme.

Good video, but you should 've insisted more on the fact that the Sky Golem is only useful for gathering herbs... not mining. I ve just bought this super expensive mount for nothing (and it feels bad).

You can enchant your tool with even more stats. Big tip I believe you missed out on. Yes it´s an enchant like any other.

Damn I wish I found this video yesterday before I started putting pts into the mount mining/herbalism tree, well live and learn I guess. Since I lost 40 pts in Herbalism and 37(atm) in Mining, would it be more worth if I Unlearn them to reset bck to 0 ? unless that's not what happens idk i'm new to this Right now I'm at lvl 100 both, total pts 47 herb and 37 Mine

I don't think its a super bad thing. You can get mounted gathering, which will help a lot, especially mining! And then you get around 11-12 more knowledge a week that you can start putting into getting more from the herbs. You might get a little less per herb/ore, but you can still make good gold!

you should have said HOW to get the blue gathering tools , you need 300 artisan acuity which will take away from knowledge points

Legitimate question, what’s the point of spending hours and hours gathering ore and herbs when you can spend 1 hour working IRL and buy a WoW token for substantially more in game gold?

@@armored-clown i enjoy it in small amounts. Gathering, doing the overloads. Fishing every time you find good fishing spawn. I mostly do it for a couple of hours to give materials to my crafters, and then make potions and gear :) I don’t really do it all day to horde tons of gold.

It's gonna get easier over time. I have sometimes similar feelings when I was away for just a month or two. I think the best thing to do is to focus on one thing at a time and not overwhelm yourself with too many things simultaneously 👍🏻

It's still fluctuating. Bismuth is back up to almost 50g per at the moment, and will only go up after season 1 starts. So will the rest of the gathering items most likely due to demand for consumables and the fact that most people will be busy progressing. Also, 30k per hour is really high for barely any effort.

You can get around 10-11 knowledge points per week just from gathering. So can easily start working towards the other the other things once you have your mounted gathering!

There's no mount that allows you to mine while mounted so those points are not wasted. Only herbalism has the golem or mechanized lumber extractor
