That'd be too easy. Just grind levels and heal with Pokemon center until you're strong enough to steam roll everything with whatever Pokemon of your choosing. The 5 Pokeballs you get in the beginning are really enough, so long as you only use them for Pokemon you'll want to carry all the way through. Alternatively just save them until you get to meowth then farm items while you grind via using a team of meowth with pick up

Unsure if he'll read this, but there's an amazing grinding spot on the first Sevii island next to the hot spring that gives you easy access to healing, plenty of trainers grouped together and they have higher level pokemon. Also, for future runs, it might be fun to fight the legendaries (at least the birds) for an extra challenge

Ah, I have an explanation for the grass moves, in Gen 1 or so, Kabuto had a really fcked up description where he would absorb the blood of his enemies, to restore injuries and stamina, which the Pokemon creators apparently translated to, yep lets give him absorb ^^

Can you beat Pokemon Crystal using only X smeargles? Set the value of X as you see fit 1 seems logical but it would be more fun to use like 4 smeargles with cool sets instead of just overleveling a single smeargle. Pikasprey did it and he was fairly certain doing it with 1 was basically impossible. Frankly, Smeargle is so awful I don't think using 4 would be a huge issue

1 Smeargle in Emerald is possible, and Emerald is overall a harder game.

Pokémon Gold/Silver with one Smeargle would be a very interesting challenge. Because Smeargle does not learn moves via TM or HM, your main source of moves will be coming from sketch, meaning you really have to plan out what moves you want to take as Sketch is only learned every 10 levels.

Audio feedback: I was actually using my studio monitors for the sound, so I have a very unbiased system here. The low frequencies on your voice sounded a bit boomy. Either the low end was peaking on the mic input or you have some kind of effect that is compressing/amplifying the low end. The high end (where most of the voice sits) was nice and crisp, perhaps too crisp? I'm a home music producer so i know enough about audio engineering to help you out a bit. If you send me a DM explaining your setup and I might be able to help you improve your sound.

For Gen 1-3 the type of the move decided whether is was physical or special. ALL rock moves were physical in Gen 3, Ancient Power included. He even mentions this in the video.

He's Canadian, and names are hard. He doesn't watch the anime (or anything on TV other than professional wrestling for that matter) so the only way he would've learned the names of certain Pokémon would've been from people either telling him, or looking them up himself.
