I have a pit she is 13yrs and I love her looks like Gianna that is a long life for any dog. You have taken care of her. My dog is only 75 pounds and has joint pain. Dogs get joint pain from old age just like we do.

We lost Sheba in October shortly after I replied about Gianna as I said she was 13yrs old. She will be missed she was just like my kid she went everywhere with me and my husband at the time. Dogs are with us for a short time.

Definitely makes sense because they learn and grow very quickly at that age . At 1yr old you can have them toilet trained , obey command , apart from food water they look after themselves . Can't do that with a baby 🤣 some take 40years
