Just an FYI Kyle and I can be very sarcastic with one another which you don’t usually see since this is a Horse Channel. When my mare arrived she was nervous and needed space and was expressing clear signs of not wanting to be touched. I was obviously joking when I was talking to him, and I want him to be safe. He’s the best ❤. Trust me Kyle is very sarcastic with me and I have to get back at him sometimes 😂.

I love Belle!!💙Every time you said it her ears pricked forward.I love her beautiful long mare ears. If anyone has ever notice they have bigger ears than the boys have because they use them to hear where their babies are and listen for predators. This mare reminds me so much of a mare a friend of mine had. She was the kindest horse on the farm. This girl has a kind heart. You can tell just by looking at her. An old Norse word Syndr (pronounced Cinder) means ashes or cinders. She fits the color. If you're set on Belle or Rajah take Belle since a rajah is a male ruler in India. Whatever you call her I know you'll take care of her.

Yes, “Rajah” is a male title and not appropriate. I personally dislike all things Disney and wish your horses weren’t named for Disney characters, but you do you. I would keep her name Bluebell if it were up to me. There are so many names out of the Disney sphere that are quite wonderful, you should branch out and get creative.

❣💯 Shae, mares take a while to warm up to a new owner, unlike geldings who bond so readily. Beautiful Belle was chewing her mouth comfortably around you and I think she was sensing the good vibes at "Free Equestrian" Farm. She's only 7 years old; oh! I can see her as a brood mare. Remember commenting about buying a pregnant mare at the earlier auctions. Maybe the universe is moving you in that direction. I can't say enough how stunning her conformation and long line are and with perfect legs. Her chest is definitely Percheron, massive and muscular. Her coloring is the Belle of the Ball, for sure.

It simply took Belle and Ezzy a week of Hoping--to coincide with you at Mt Hope... right off the trailer, just as you were leaving. I mean, really, it's a bloomin' miracle, and you-of-the-high-energy-quotient... Held Out for Them! I never tire of watching this story unfold... plus, could watch Belle's "floaty" trot all day long. I loved the "snorty dragon," too. (and hoot! Now Ezzy has golden front knee socks!). 18-Sep-23. And be consoled! Belle is French for Beautiful, which she certainly is.

I think that Belle is a good name because the story about belle reminds me of the way you take your horses and give them a new chance, and a better life. You are transforming them into queens, kings, princesses etc. BUT rajah is also a soooo gorgeous name! it has so much power and strength in it. She is so gorgeous & good natured! What a perfectly wonderful soul! Obviously, her name is BELLE! While you were recording before & tossing the two names that you are considering out there, I don't think you noticed because you had turned your head just then but when you said 'BELLE' she gave an immediate, positive show of recognition. I thought right then that despite being at the auction, her former owner must have really cared for & treated her well because it shows & shines through her eyes, her physical appearance & demeanor. It had to be hard for her former owner to give her up but they had to have really cared for her to let her go when they were 'running low on hay'. Instead of seeing her suffer, lose weight & struggle, like so many auction horses clearly do, they sent her on to you, someone who would care for her & LOVE her as much as they did. Thankfully, she has not had that all too common horrible 'auction horse'' experience. They had to have put their faith in her being bought by someone like you. Like you said, 'She just showed up out of nowhere' after all the time, effort, heart & soul you put into the previous auctions & due to one thing or another, you weren't able to buy a horse that you had wanted. I believe we are truly seeing the proof of a higher power at work here in BELLE'S life! As such, she clearly has no negative associations with her prior history or her name. Which I believe is why you like to give your new horses new names so that they don't have any negative associations with their former life. As I said, I believe that BELLE has had a good life & been well cared for & loved very much & she recognizes her name with no negative feelings or memories, as so many unfortunate auction horses do. Please give BELLE & her former owner the respect of her memories & of the love they gave her, the heartbreaking decision they made in giving her up rather than seeing her suffer when they found that they weren't able to care for her any longer. Please let BELLE keep her name. It will be good for her soul. She knows who she is, BELLE. Thank you💜
