Torp party with Sparty! I'm building this one myself but have had to postpone the build temporarily to grind more of the tech line. I'm okay with them doing this now, wish they'd done it sooner because by the time I grind enough to finish the build it will feel like I've earned her. So thanks for the first look at how she goes.

Think you mixed up the detection after firing guns by sea (11.3km) with the detection after firing guns by air (5.4km)

This is one of those ships that I'd deliberately nerf my own gun range if possible. I just find that without a smoke screen, I want to go unspotted faster especially after firing my guns (so I leave the gunfire range upgrade off of my Oyster-goat-land for example). My torps have all the range I'll ever need on these boats

My best destroyer game is in a Z-25. I was just trying to ne like Sealord, Xarkun and Spartan. Spot, screen, kill DD's. And I did. Seven kills, four with guns. All three destroyers, two cruisers, two battleships. The red team has never let me do that again...

I absolutely hate getting into gun fights with the Friesland. Maybe it's just the way my brain is wired for destroyer play, but even in a gun boat build I lose more often than not against those fast firing guns. Where as when I play my oland, I tend to win most gun fights. the oland and the orkan both have a rear gun that spins 360* which is really nice to have

I often hear you talk about gun boats. As a bb main I don't know enough. They are all dd for me, caus of ignorance. Could you possibly do a series of videos show casing gun boats, how to play them, and the non gun boats?

Gun boats are dds with fast reloading guns (From my understanding i may not be correct) e.g Halland, ostergotland, Smaland, Sumner, Daring, friesland etc and dds that arent gun boats are most of the japanese destroyers and other destroys that I cant think of. They aren’t considered gun boats mainly because of they focus on concealment and hard hitting torps. they aren’t gun boats bc they have like a 7 second reload. e.g Shimakaze, Yugumo, Asashio etc

I play this ship us gun-boat, but the main gun is very unprecic.

I feel like this is a lightly nerfed smalland, I say this cause smalland has the opportunity to run radar which this doesn't have. And since both are unable to run smoke, the only advantage halland has over smalland is having 2 extra torps. But not having radar.... that's a significant downside to a "legendary" version of what basically is smalland.
